Amok In The Classroom
Audio
Tue, 22 May 2012
In a fit of frustration, with an idol twist, one North Carolina teacher yells at a student over what she calls "disrespect" for U.S. President Barack Obama. Unfortunately, and seemingly for the school's reputation, the loud lesson exploded on you tube. All the kid did was to ask a question about Obama's book.. Howie was appalled at the blatant politicism of the classroom.

Vampires and Stalin

President Obama came out with a new 2 minute ad this weekend against Mitt Roney called “Steel”. It attacks Mitt Romney’s record on job creation. In the ad former employees of a mill once owned by Baine call Mitt a job destroyer and a vampire. The ad neglects to say that Mitt had left Bain two years before the mill was closed and was in fact headed by a democratic fund raiser when these people lost their jobs. Howie was appalled at the out and out duplicity of this campaign.

President Obama's trip to and speech from Afghanistan had much more to do with politics than substance. Seven thousand miles, one way, to share war remarks with countrymen that he should have and could have shared back home. Despite the administration's best backgrounding sales efforts, the document he signed with Afghan President Hamid Karzai is a meaningless basic agreement to talk later about forging a real agreement. Guest host Col. Hunt asked was the President grandstanding yet again.
