Taking The 5th
IRS official Lois Lerner tried to claim the 5th amendment right to avoid self-incrimination while testifying before the Congressional Committee investigating the IRS misuse of power. However the Chairman of the Committee, Congressman Issa says she waived her Fifth Amendment rights and will be hauled back to appear before his panel since she gave an opening statement denying any wrongdoing and professing pride in her government service. Howie said hooray for Issa and wanted Lerner's backside hauled back before the committee.
