  1. Avi Nelson - Obama and Biden gaffes

    Audio

    03/31/2012

President Obama said that he would have “more flexibility” to deal with controversial issues such as missile defense, but incoming Russian President Vladimir Putin needs to give him “space.” The exchange was picked up by microphones as reporters were let into the room for remarks by the two leaders. Avi discusses this as well as Vice President Biden's recent gaffe.

It was a rough Sunday for the Obamas. First, Chris Matthews questions whether the president is deserving of a second term in a brutal interview with MSNBC's Alex Witt and then a NASCAR crowd booed Michelle Obama as she took the stage to call the start of a race. Howie said he would have booed the First Lady if he had been there....

  3. Are people raised to be rude to people?

    Audio

    11/21/2011

First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden , Vice President Joe Biden's wife, were booed by some NASCAR fans as they served as the grand marshals for the racing circuit's final event Sunday. Obama and Biden were at the Homestead-Miami Speedway to promote Joining Forces, an organization that promotes the hiring and training of veterans. They were joined by Army Sgt. Andrew Barry, a veteran of the Afghan and Iraqi wars who now volunteers at an Orlando, Fla., veterans center, and his family. The clip shows that people cheer for the soldier, but boo when the two women's names are announced. There are some audible sounds of approval, but they seem to be mostly drowned out by the dissenters. Are people more rude now then they were in the past?

  4. Did Rick Perry Blow his chance at Presidential Nomination last night?

    Audio

    11/10/2011

With an epic gaffe, Rick Perry last night removed one of the legs beneath his already-wobbly presidential campaign. With a fresh answer, Mitt Romney may have shored up his own base as he powers on in the race for the 2012 Republican nomination. Perry went blank while announcing the three federal agencies he would target to tame the budget deficit. “Oops,” he proclaimed after stammering for 43 seconds, trying to recall the third one. It was a serious if not fatal blow to his candidacy that underscored how defining this series of nonstop debates has become. Did Rick Perry blow his chance last night?

  5. Did Hank Williams Jr. Deserved to be fired from ESPN over Hitler Comment?

    Audio

    10/06/2011

Are you ready for some football? Hank Williams Jr. isn't anymore. The country singer and ESPN each took credit for the decision Thursday morning to ax his classic intro to "Monday Night Football." The network had pulled the song from the game earlier this week after Williams made an analogy to Adolf Hitler while discussing President Barack Obama on Fox News on Monday morning. "After reading hundreds of e-mails, I have made MY decision," Williams said in a statement to The Associated Press. "By pulling my opening Oct 3rd, You (ESPN) stepped on the Toes of The First Amendment Freedom of Speech, so therefore Me, My Song, and All My Rowdy Friends are OUT OF HERE. It's been a great run." Did he deserved to be fired?
