Fired For Protecting Himself at Walgreens
Audio

In Benton Township, Michigan, two armed robbers wearing masks burst into a near-deserted Walgreens at 4:30 a.m. To pharmacist Jeremy Hoven, it was a prescription for trouble. So he filled it with hot lead. A video, newly released by Hoven's attorneys, shows how events unfolded. Drawing his own gun, Hoven fired at the attackers and drove them off, saving not just himself but two Walgreens co-workers as well as the pharmacy's valuable prescription drugs. Is Arnold Schwarzenegger out of Line with T-Shirt?
Audio
08/10/2011
Out for a bike ride in Santa Monica the other day, the former Governator sported a sweaty white T-shirt with the phrase “I Survived Maria” emblazoned on the back, and “It’s Time” on the front. Below it reads “2007-2010” with the 2007 crossed out with 1977 written above. That, of course, would be the year Arnold met Kennedy cousin Maria Shriver at a charity event and later married on Cape Cod, and 2010 is when Schwarzenegger left office in Sacramento. What's the worst thing an ex has ever done to you?

7-22 Outrage of the Day Gas Tax in MA
Audio

Wait a second — I thought the deal was, if we rolled over and didn’t repeal the 25-percent increase in the sales tax, the hacks would take the 19-cents-a-gallon gas tax off the table. Do you think the vote last year on cutting the sales tax back to 5 percent might have gone the other way if the voters had figured out that Deval was pulling the old bait-and-switch on them yet again? Forget the U.S. attorney’s public-corruption unit, we need to unleash the bunco squad at the State House. Deval ain’t much of a governor, but damn, can he play three-card monte. Are you for the gas tax?

Was Mitt Romney Joking or being Insensitive?
Audio
06/17/2011
Mitt Romney's latest attempt at joke-telling may have left a dark cloud over the Sunshine State. The multimillionaire GOP presidential candidate met with a group of unemployed Floridians at a Tampa coffee shop Thursday and jested, "I am also unemployed." Although his remarks were greeted with some laughter, Democrats were quick to pounce. Florida congresswoman and chair of the Democratic National Committee, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, said Romney - who has a net worth of more than $200 million - was being "insensitive to the millions of Americans looking for work." Is this a funny joke or an insensitive remark by Mitt Romney?
