Do feel less of candidates that cried at GOP Event in Iowa?

The two-hour Family Leader event seemed more like a gossipy television talk show, the site says, with tears and emotions overflowing. The influential Iowa-based evangelical Christian advocacy group hoped to draw out personal stories that revealed each candidate's character without the pressure of timers, which are traditional during debates. It was [Herman] Cain who got the tears flowing. The retired Georgia businessman, who noted that his wife of 43 years, Gloria, was with him, was overcome with emotion recalling the day he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Luntz quietly interjected: “Take your time.” “I said I wasn’t going to do this!” Cain said, light-heartedly berating himself. He continued: “It’s as bad as it gets, I will never forget before my wife and I were about to get in the car I said, I can do this…” Cain paused again. The audience was silent. “She said, ‘We,’ ” Cain finished, and covered his face with his hand. Do you look at these candidates who wear their emotions on their sleeve?

Will Ron Paul Run as Third Party Candidate?
Audio
Fri, 28 Oct 2011
More fromJen Brien
Whether liberals, conservatives and true populists like it or not (and many do not), the most likely outcome of the nominating process is a general-election battle between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney. This opens up a humongous opening for Dr. Ron Paul to run as a third-party candidate. It has been said of Mitt Romney that he has been a liberal, a moderate and a conservative. What will the next Mitt Romney be? Is there any serious conservative who trusts him? Of course not. If Ron Paul runs for president as a third-party candidate against Obama and Romney, he changes the entire dynamic of the campaign and totally transforms the national debate. Will it hurt Republicans if Ron Paul runs as a third party candidate?
