And so the pipelines so in the passengers are traditionally an elitist issue these caribou India. Andy and boy going to draw an area about the size of Dulles airport. And and why which has about the size of that South Carolina. Charge preposterous to suggest this is a real problem and again that is to say this is -- litmus test for a fraternities frankly the beautiful people attract great for the people that -- at staples to a Barack Obama speak during Jennifer just got."

" Right he just keep busy he's got to understand that he can out beautiful people Barack Obama I mean it can't be done."

" I mean doesn't think he's going to those folks -- wants to me basically to shut down the country you're gonna vote for him because he's can't stand wants. He's got to energize he's got future things -- One he's he's going to energize the Reagan Republicans and Reagan conservatives to vote Republican but need to come out. And then he's got to go get Hillary Democrats who are basically Reagan Democrats who went home. And vote for and voted for Hillary when has frank rich wrote she came office you know the lobster out of normal role in -- help."

" Right yet -- But you know or one of our our board up here happy works at a gas station on the weekends and he says people just pull them up and they're screaming about George Bush they're blaming him for the gas prices and and as you know I mean it whether you're at fault or not. The the administration that's in power on the executive level as one that's going to take the heat first for a situation like we've got now with the the price aghast."

" Well sure there are and they they have been in power and frankly the bush destroyed the value the -- with the eastern trade deficits. Andy's monstrous current account deficit to all these dollars and -- overseas and there were questioned by Russian -- And and taken in terms of Euro gas prices have soared but they haven't done what they didn't United States which is multiplied. By a factor of almost six -- that twentieth barrel or something when bush took office."

" It's but on the other hand you know the Democrats and they were going to get the problem straight now when they got returned to power in 2006 path."

" Well they're going to be hot but actually -- the -- are up but pop princess that is. -- straighten out again at McDonald McDonald and company profits but up at a hundred increased gasoline supply a a a look I'm not a huge fan because it's gonna be -- in my -- it's problematic. And so help me at all."

" Didn't didn't McCain go to Wall Street to last week and he I think he used the old word -- obscene you know army. That's ridiculous I."

" That's up a steady check lets their profits up but this is sheriff's sale. A member a long time ago that while ago that the oil companies -- not -- oil companies made 9% on sales on -- which which is excellent Dominica regulars verify that went to Washington Post made 15% -- A a a a a a it's amazing but there's you know there's not a lot of -- economic -- around here."

" Yeah and now and John Edwards is gonna be a windfall profits tax is his thirty million dollar."

" It was still about 38000 square foot that -- squash court -- that's a -- a actually brilliant so basic and very petition that was -- more -- two -- is about a month. In the show on about my ten year old navigator you know yeah you -- New York -- corporate jet you know you know baldness -- also mean."

" Rather the nine I don't -- actually end openly and left an Orange County North Carolina comes with this down there -- the whole place have been developed and he's got fifty acres I think he took a couple of the old trailer parks leased equipment not us who -- and I don't know how important emotional trauma sir -- didn't -- a minute one on one hand yeah. -- just -- get the keep those terrible off by a wall or a few at all. One."

" 8774694322 Pat Buchanan is whether she got a new book out Iraq -- Hitler and the unnecessary war how Britain lost its empire in the west lost its world. And he'll pat the first question I got to ask you about this as you know you you know you say things have turned out terribly since the end of World War II meet. What do you don't have to also consider the wall what happened if if we hadn't -- the in Britain and the United States hadn't intervened here -- hip -- Hadn't been overthrown I mean what kind of world we'd be eleven and now if that it it fat and allowed to occur."

" Well restricted to tyrants. And but by 1931 September 1 1939 prisoners dead and for Richie was responsible for we're about 300 people. That was from the purge the -- urgent 1934. And the -- horrible event of Kristall knock the that the Pope gram. -- correct through Germany and about twelve or 24 hour period November ninth tenth 1930 page. Yet about 300 -- charged him. George Stalin had probably 10000 dead for every one. Hitler had charged -- my argument space it is how -- the first crimes are horrible and terrible. The -- all war crimes had to -- been no war there might have been no holocaust. Certainly in my judgment had Britain stupidly not give an Award guarantee to poll the polls. Put participated in breaking up Czechoslovakia and who would define Hitler over this town damned sick. It was a German town to British or fought ought to be returned. And they -- not given the -- guaranteed the polls might have negotiated given the guy Pakistan can count. He wanted alliance were pulled -- not a war it's getting littler bit mean the bridge sort of forced. -- attacked somebody tries to end it. And about saying -- that he throws Moftec Condit at Dunkirk contrite -- again and a virtually no finally burst into Russia to knock out Britain's last -- feels. They can help the men can bring peace. And of course he gets bogged down there. And -- the Holocaust starch in 1940 true. Two years January about two years and a half years after the war began. No war no holocaust that's just my point and -- but not not declared war. At least because -- had no intention of going west that would have documented there. It would never got -- at least all the germs in the debate the question of the others in Norway and Denmark and Holland and Belgium France Yugoslavia increased. What a survivor of power. So this year -- in Britain make too horrendous to shut."

" How does Winston Churchill know that I mean how to how to the Brit that I mean they're they're fighting against a guy a guy who -- you know."

" what they want fighting attention in 1939 until they declared war on him. They declared war on him -- in nineteen."

" You don't know he's not -- keys militarized in the continent as -- Meet me --"

" 39 how are you picked up he would militarized the rhineland which was his own backyard he would have a peaceful consciously broke into Austria. He had gotten mister Dayton plan -- bring you know blackmail and stuff like that but unlike benchmark to export three wars -- important symbol war. It would have been removed and it didn't didn't want to fight over Kentucky just one of the -- black."

" But key he was spending a lot higher percentage of -- of the German gross national product on the best way not."

" You know spending 50% in the bridge we're spending 15% it was not a bit above quote generic from Americans after the war they shouldn't -- was not prepared. -- for a major war you know British historian should hear it and let no heart and BJP can lower the finest British historic. I never wanted to world war in which I'm prepared for it going to fight a world war how are you don't -- He didn't go to sleep half the size of the monitors. He goes into Air Force was to engine bombers they were to support oh."

" But he did have a an alliance with the Japanese who were run who did have who did it around the war actually right."

" The other negligent and anti common turned alliance with the Japanese YE. Anti Stalin that's what he wanted -- to join Mussolini was hit the kind of -- which are good guys after September 1. 1939 what I'm saying is. At the harsh world war crimes no war no holocaust memoir an awful lot of things that happened would not have happened. And he didn't want war with picnic I wished he left the British empire boulevard more than Winston Churchill."

" An analogy yeah what are power Jamaica are trouble for yourself -- mean it does sound like you know you're saying well you know meet again no policing Stalin was a good. Stalin was worse okay will concede that. But not by writing this book I mean aren't you sort of making an excuse for for Hitler."

" No it's not an excuse the guy did awful thing it's like a rose to get on a tiny scale David Koresh was not all. And so what this guy agenda but it Janet Reno hadn't done much to do it. Those kids might not be good yeah. That is fundamentally supported porno I'm not -- what -- what he did he got exactly what he deserved and that bumper and his other guys were hanged. They got what they deserved. What I'm saying is is still stupidity and blunders -- British tourist and one was given -- guarantee. But before that unless you know all the way back to 1921. Did you know the Japanese -- largely the bridge in World War I they were protecting the umpire escorting --"

" I was just glance at three your book today and I I didn't know that until I just read -- this --"

" There's a lot of things I -- know myself and that in the any new Japanese -- loyal and faithful expected islands abduct from from the Germans were to Britney -- And the assailant and the breaststroke -- Mussolini to loan to Hitler despised him. And after Hitler you know we -- some Nazi shot his body the chancellor of Austria. But certainly any call that an alliance basically over lunch -- France Britain and Italy to ever got to stop this guy. Into the bridge stick around the back door and continental deal with it which Hitler. And he broke his own alliance all these things one blunder after another after another now nobody depends what Hitler did and looked at might have been a war -- But the point is how it. Lead you to in the -- that people should vote you know you articulating kill other accused -- used to be Sharif. How many countries to -- shape by going to war they destroyed than brought down their empire so Joe Stalin could inherit dictate steel I have for Poland. Occupied the rest occupied -- Christian countries of Europe. They made Eastern Europe central -- not for democracy."

" But -- Hitler was -- you what you -- he would he didn't have a he didn't have any death camps and tell you don't total war guy going but -- crystal -- I mean that was that was the anti Jewish."

" It which is so labor so horrible thing but you know rip and what happened alternative results out of this terrible hundred. About a hundred Jewish folks were killed were people were brutalized beaten up and it smashed but the good thing most. And that's as strict after kristallnacht -- remaining -- about 200000 more left and we're out of Germany. By my you know and I can't ever got districts three forcible all the Jews in Germany had left. By the time the curtain fell on September 11939. So my point is not -- was a good guy but get directed -- to the idea of declaring war on Germany over -- And and you know given a war guaranteed Poland went storage how -- you couldn't -- Poland there were no plans to assure you Poland's. They give a pollster work we will bomb Berlin I think."

" your total panic I'm happy I smoke a lot of this was you know when the in the aftermath of World War I you know why the the overblown rhetoric make the world safe for democracy the war and end all wars etc. et cetera I mean that's -- that's what context. In which these alliances were made correct."

" Meanwhile don't go to the polish soon here's what happened with the polish and Britain has no alliance poll. And the polls had participated in -- Czechoslovakia apart the Hungarians and the Germans. And good -- politician ever been put together the way it was all these minorities in their. But what happened was. Hitler double crossed Chamberlain -- Munich deal was great and he walked into Czechoslovakia anywhere any takes whatever makes the protectorate and so all of a sudden chamberlin is in panicky she really added he's hysterical people running into the -- trichet and that was going to move on Poland until March 26 1939 gave borders I do not want the polish issues settled by force. He said -- he wanted -- Poland as a whole lot. Why in heavens name with the -- Who -- never brought in Eastern Europe in history and -- the first unconditional war guarantee industry to Eastern Europe that they had no intention of backing up no ability to back up. And thereby disputing the polls into believing the British empire would be fighting on their side from day one. The British empire in the French did not think they went -- and hid behind imaginary line and the polls were annihilated and crucified. And look what happened attracting NASCAR post clips to Blanco annihilation of the -- terror in the country apart they."

" And the -- generally my that was by the Russians wasn't."

" The cat came as a by the Russians are not cheap sport going back and forth across Poland what did -- do for -- poll Charlie. What can return to the cheers and won't."

" Well do not think it got they got -- move Poland though west when they took part of German let's take some calls with Pat Buchanan. He's the author of the new book at Churchill Hitler in the unnecessary war how Britain lost its empire in the west lost the world you can order -- from our website CM you're next with how we card Pat Buchanan go ahead CM."

" Yeah Ali some elements four mr. Buchanan I just find it absolutely preposterous and and laughable. That mr. Buchanan has once again espousing completely. You know anti Semitic views that are are are wrapped in some sort of also knowledge or revisionism of history he's completely. Neglecting you know the background of Adolf Hitler the fact that. Adolf Hitler himself in the mud com for -- exactly what he added mine for the Jews that it absolutely nothing to do. With the onset of World War II. The fact that. The Jews were were massacred. It and it -- all of costs during which beat you know actively seeking and during. The course of World War II when Hitler was bogged down -- how important the annihilation of the Jews. -- listing the -- hardly add enough provisions and weaponry to fight on two fronts and yet it took."

" They they they use -- real or else."

" Identity I -- I get a -- of the question but look my point very simple how many Jews in Europe where shade. By the British and French declaration of war which brought Hitler west and gave him about eight more countries. How -- that action of these before the war there were probably 100 Jews killed in crushed on the how many were killed during the war. Why you should therefore a good war that that resulted in fact it also brought down the British empire totally. And left all of Eastern Europe 200 million people and these Christian countries. All the Jews and all the Christians left under Joseph Stalin the most more murderous -- and in history. Was that worth sacrificing the British empire and the western democracies declaring war what they should've done."

" Pat we don't know what would've happened if Hillary I -- a Hitler had one -- if if Hitler had they had been allowed me Hitler was shaken down these like you say he was blackmailing country's right."

" Well little reluctant Czechoslovakia never should have been put together the trunk stricter British didn't care Neville Chamberlain didn't care that he -- I don't -- to pooch. Whether the security and Germans are in charge circle charger and -- Neither should reward you shouldn't go to war virtually -- like that's when they should never been protect my point is to us how we. It looked George tenant agrees with me he broke me before his step. And my view is -- war guarantee guarantee the war watching the Dutch have done. After they were double crossed it and in Munich after me at 6 march after Munich simple. Do what Harry Truman did it. Draw a red line. At the Rhine river ordered it to German border and -- the Belgium Holland France. You're war -- Great Britain France and these countries as well just do what we do it might view is and I think a judgment he wasn't common where it's."

" Don't totally portable war though between us and and a -- it. If there hadn't been nuclear weapons involved I mean don't you know we just postpone the day of reckoning."

" Pat how why how are you ask yourself why he wanted to British empire reserved. Preserved he did not want to take back else stations in the rain because he knew he'd be -- a fight with a British empire. He was more supportive of the British empire the FDR who one of -- a broken up -- if you were common west. Why after he moved into the rhineland and -- militarized at 1936. Did he -- his old western wall the 63 blind to defend the western world the country never built western world because a concert. Under the German general -- plan for war was going to go on the offensive."

" The Kaiser was never in the trenches in World War I all those guys -- in the trenches of World War I had a thing for walls that make I mean that's what. Four walls where there was imagine a lot of."

" But the point is the book the -- as. Hitler how are you I think it's demonstrated very well I mean even -- these are all British historians since he never wanted war with Britain. He wasn't a single file. He'd -- before -- of World War I. He loved didn't -- camp the gentleman just call their mind can't be sure they're only two countries in Europe right now which Germany just about 1920 veteran. Cannot -- financial first digitally in the second -- Great Britain because we don't threaten British interest we should never built to -- he said. Before World War II we just we threaten the royal navy and that's why they joined with friends so what we do we cut a deal -- them we don't build a navy. They stay out of our back yard and we stay out of their backyard consider don't have any interest on the continent. And and adult world empire and we'd like that brought them are we can be -- minute. So -- here look at this very cold and calculating it looked at gentleman named to -- and I don't understand this I. Speaking at -- these ideas mainly how are you the first thing. What in the hell happened to our world. In 1914 with the old western open doubly Christian countries even the Russians are they're there autocratic the concert they're -- more and more democratic. And show us Britain and socially at all these impartial role in the whole world. -- current twenty years 25 years later. The whole thing why shouldn't ruin solve these you got Nazis and Communists and fascists and the whole western world -- destroy it we can most of what the worst has lost the world because of these two disasters. And don't -- work unnecessary it's."

" If you go back I mean you gotta go back to what the shooting of the arch duke in 1914 I mean if you."

" Russia and all the way back but I do. I'm not I don't know I have I haven't I apologize for that don't -- problem it will continue what you stick around -- takes more calls you gotta run. Okay are holed up."

" Could with a full line to -- people want to talk -- 18774694322 what this is Pat Buchanan the title of his book Churchill Hitler in the unnecessary war how Britain lost its empire in the west -- The world and now --"

" 18774694322 whether -- as a Pat Buchanan he's the author the new book. Churchill Hitler in the unnecessary war -- Britain lost its empire and the west lost its world. That we had a bunch of people want to talk Jim's going to put through much of calls in this segment okay were audio. Just show today yeah they got politicos say. So did applied for a barrage -- your next with the holy guard Pat Buchanan go ahead --"

" you know putting in history when I was taught mind cope was basically. The manual -- what was going into the world point I'm. Which if you watch the war by Ken burns. There was this segment they -- followed different. Fighting men and one -- from the believe it was pouring in Connecticut. And when he was talking to a Prisoner of War prisoner Award told him. Yes similar is strongly that the North Sea that Torre and he -- that's what that was subsonic and not the White creek something like that. -- the guy from Connecticut was surprised that he even knew about the creek and he's so how would you know that he said. Well before the water I was praying to be one of the occupation offices. Well of the north east IT he was trained for that -- right at the walk that you are saying it had no plans for."

" Okay -- into that. But saying there was going to invade the United States of America. First he couldn't even make it across the English channel or not he had no landing craft had no navy that -- escort ships. Across the British navy would have blown right out of the water. He had no plans to do that. -- you're telling me he could cross the Atlantic Ocean which has been occupied and run by the American and -- royal navy since Trafalgar he's come across the United States and common to Massachusetts -- This is preposterous checkpoint at my book only America America power had the power to do what we did even in 1970. Telling our army in 1917 was the same size as Portugal's seventeenth and the world within eighteen months after April 1917. We had two million gash in France fighting and two million more on the way. No other nation on earth could have done that that -- the American navy did not encounter a single German surface warship. During the entire war they get managed to get H -- to shore by submarine who were rounded up and executed within a month. The idea that a country the size of Washington and Oregon. Is going to Chanda that we know -- and no Air Force that western and no bombers have more than two engines they were back mainly are support. It's got to come across an -- the United States tell me that follow -- frankly I don't mind -- going on believe and after resting his wife's. In their a lot of stores like that it FDR put that the Nazis were -- over the going to take -- over Latin America divided up into five parched. And then -- the swastika was going to replace approach that was all worked up in the skunk works Stephenson. The man called entrapment it was all designed to get -- Americans into the war."

" Thanks for the call Jim billion next with how we -- Pat Buchanan author of Churchill -- He'll mark excuse -- teacher author of Churchill Hitler and the net unnecessary war go ahead mark."

" I don't know -- Leo. Good pat I -- you're right. You all out I'm right up here in Maine in 2000 you're running the reform party convention -- And you know. What what don't think people understand."

" Well they'll I don't look there's a lot of New York can understand this look we've all -- traditionally. You know I'm I'm -- little older you are a bit -- sophistication no we argued about -- what you want to fight -- should be fought Stalin general --"

" You know I don't know I yeah I agree you know my father I grew up with the same stories --"

" Why did my dinner table or hammered engineer. And you go back and studied this in and you read a good read and definitely appreciate most restrictions. This concluding line and today carton back 1500 words on my book. The concluding -- line as. This book stinks you know which was very -- if that's true source Buchanan this brilliant on Versailles. It should you have to whistle at the blunders Buchanan -- what British statesman did in in the in the 1930s -- Buchanan is more trenchant critic and he's got it really does not like you can and to former trust and order."

" I know but but I -- the thing is easy you know you you don't disk comes across it you know like your like your making excuses for Hitler arms under argued vessel -- that's -- it it it really comes our costs."

" Our -- gave differing international unnecessary forwarded to come from. DR -- question Churchill in 1941 December after Pearl Harbor which we call this war. At Churchill said the unnecessary war because there never was Award it was more preventable on the one we're in right now."

" Let me ask you something why do Hitler declare war on the United States of America was when I've always wondered."

" I I think I've never seen a good explanation. I've read I mean immediately -- him for him when he did that because."

" Unnecessary he didn't have to do that."

" No he didn't have to do it comedian and that he had an alliance with Japan but it required him to come to the defense of Japan Japan were -- In Japan wasn't attacked and attacked dust someone check it says it you know essentially same sense of honor that caused him to rushed in I mean I'm not."

" There aren't there you go again -- given -- trouble. Itself."

" What caused him to do you actually come to the rescue -- into -- subject turns who -- we got in trouble was once was he's. Up up as a socialist capitalist a -- but cautioned I don't know he's got a he hasn't I mean there's -- nonsense about this guy. Learning look at him we all know what he did it we all know the crimes committed my point is. -- naval war crimes and have been no war. What the crimes have been committed at a -- about paying particular situation I told you what happened all through the nineteenth."

" You have this feeling though that he wouldn't have gone to war anyway I mean -- that would've that would've been a provocation down the line is that human history pat you know."

" Lucky but the point is let me tell you what he did in the west can look at it launched lands in the west at -- It lost this -- two show us signaled interest cent Mark Cuban and helmet into Belgium a sexual grange of France. And the south Tyrone 200000 Austrian Germans to Italy he never requested those back for a simple reason. He didn't care about -- where he didn't want a war -- to west. He -- as -- with the west had been stupid to tragic stupidity fighting the British which they never should have been fighting and the United States against and they can do not think it just cost of all their colonies because. The Americans in the brits controlled -- and they -- multiple account as he said look if we got a few Church in the east we're turning our backs on the west now what do you fought Poland. I think if if Poland had agreed to Danzig there would've been trouble over the corridor. Maybe he would."

" Now that you're a part you've -- to Germany were separated that's exactly why don't suppose that suppose he -- crushed him. And and so we understand Carter back. And and then you sit up there and then east -- LC wants what are what doesn't Baltic republics."

" The ball -- look at stocks were God's sakes suspicious -- report Stalin got them. And rebel came on the front door wondering should look at the war. We can't shoot these people over there they're going to wind up but Stalin or Hitler. But I -- terribly finished this is my point. You've you've got a certain limits -- even American now if you don't actually Russia and China would dwarf or Mongolian we'd love the mongolians and nothing we can do about it."

" We can't do what is -- that's when the -- should play a major deal should. North China killed thirty million people and they were our allies during World War II -- it went into effect -- in Cambodia. We didn't do a thing about Ukrainian holocaust 19321930 through the forgotten holocaust because you can't do every thanks. And this is my point depiction of the Americans were the smartest much does have criticized in and like Truman. Mean you're right we placed you know look at what happened Czechoslovakia in 1948 it was a totally true the Foreign Minister so this should apartment -- of second floor window. Took over the country. We did not think. 1968 Prague spring rush control and we did not immediately break -- relations. Solidarity Reagan did not. We can't not cannot because they're cowards but because they're not -- they don't they should look terrible associates'. We cannot risk our country and a world war percent and we've really can't stop and that is not in our vital interest. Wicked as it is and -- point in my book we are now running around we gotta get Ahmadinejad job and -- we -- Hitler in the in the Persian gulf. This clown out Saddam Hussein and his notre test you keep due August Churchill nonsense you keep it up and wind up. This same damn way the British empire Q -- that same road and that's why I wrote the book."

They weren't during -- at the rate in work in a lot of the -- the -- and it didn't happen in Milwaukee and it would cause because of the war I could totally disagree."

" Well let me just say -- there's some people who do argue that the when the German German army went into Russia. And it was followed by the orange its group and assist these special forces in order to call. The community should basically commissar isn't political types and everything else because it was an ideological as well as a race. War that it began then but again again and efficiency and -- strong script to volume biography of Hitler which -- just magnificent. He should should not cheap the Nazi anti semitism did not commit genocide idle until after he invaded Russia. And howry got canned statements that Hitler in their beast is invading Russian because you should. I got a handle or and the rich are won't -- won't she won't end because several articles they."

" He politician that's like me you can get statements from Bill Clinton saying heated -- you know."

" These but these are not public statements -- statements to his generals as to why -- that they'll put out by historic John -- can actually rip my iBook apart. He says he went into Russia. In order to knock them out of the war to get them and the war over the bridge in -- people at a vicious and Pat Buchanan got a 120 historians there."

Toyota's run of bad luck and terrible timing continues. On the same day that Toyota launched a counterattack against the assertion that electronics may be at the heart of its runaway acceleration problem, a Toyota Prius took its driver on a 30-mile wild ride on a California interstate not far from Toyota headquarters.
