    Boston Bruins goaltender Tim Thomas skipped the White House invitation to honor the Bruins deciding to use a special moment for the organization, the team and its fans to voice his displeasure with the U.S. government. On his facebook page he wrote "I believe the Federal government has grown out of control, threatening the Rights, Liberties, and Property of the People". Howie thought Tim did the right thing.

    Boston Bruins goalie Tim Thomas refused to attend a White House celebration yesterday to honor the Stanley Cup Champions. Now people are up in arms saying he put his politics before his team and should have attended the ceremony. Do you agree with Tim Thomas skipping the celebration or should he have sucked it up and went anyways?
