   A woman in her mid-30s riding a bicycle home yesterday with a friend was struck and killed by a tractor-trailer in South Boston. This was the latest in a string of recent bicycle fatalities. Michael Ahern, 46, of Dorchester pleaded not guilty yesterday to charges of drunken driving and motor vehicle homicide in the death of a 63-year-old man who was bicycling on Morrissey Boulevard on Friday in Dorchester. In Wellesley a 41-year-old bicyclist was struck and killed by a truck Aug. 24. Howie wondered why are bike accident's on the rise.
