Mitt Romney should quit the act. He is the most effete candidate ever. As phony as a person as he is, he comes across even more ridiculous every time he tries to claim he is tough. The biggest joke in the Republican 'debate' on foreign policy is that tough-guy Mitt Romney will prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear bomb. The mullahs must be cowering. Few expect him to run, but New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is essentially even with President Barack Obama in an early look at a hypothetical Election 2012 matchup. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely U.S. Voters shows that Obama earns 44% support in the matchup, while Christie attracts 43%. Six percent (6%) prefer a third option, and eight percent (8%) are undecided. These numbers place Christie in the same league as other top GOP hopefuls within single digits of Obama including former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, Texas Governor Rick Perry and businessman Herman Cain. Could Christie defeat President Obama in 2012 if he decided to run?
