Our text numbers 68688. You wanna send us a message in. Jim please find out when I'm going to be able to buy -- these Google products all I know into permanent is joining us this morning he's a professor. For Suffolk -- according sir good morning around I'll thank you for being on OK first question I've asked is how did you become a tester for these dual class. Well I had to apply an amazingly the only accepted a fifty word application -- five year wrote so Gary short -- and so I had to put them together on the line we've put together 152 video which that's my application. And my pitch in a nutshell was glance in class I wanted to use who will blast in the classroom to kinda -- my -- from a little bit more exciting. That is fantastic -- to pay for them. Well we did yeah subsequent school picked up the cost for me. And it's been worth every penny it's been a real aren't going to play who is that in my students are getting a lot -- -- that -- ball. So -- -- do you think they have a role in society. Well I think so I think it'll be alive it's certainly will be interest in line to start out win whether it's gonna transform. Yeah. You know decided adults think they'll but it will be. And uninteresting experiment for people play -- -- will be kind of -- -- -- lecture how much traction again. Sure so you'll meet first up what's the reaction when you're wearing a -- Posted a whole range of reactions on the one hand some people don't even walk -- walk confront a meter radar recording them -- doing something -- out -- -- And at other people I want to do with cellphones or recently and I was treated like a rock star because all the guys there won't technology in knew exactly what what they want to try -- had -- take a picture of them wearing it. So it's been that -- run again. Sarah -- -- when it's likening what are you seeing. What advantages do you have when you -- it. Well it's wonderful in the sense that it's a hands free agency he Nellie can take photos videos get navigation and he would then like to. This little screen out in the upper right corner of your vision. And it's not sitting in front of your -- silly you look up in front of it and it's not really interfering with your ability to interact with other people so it it makes it. Really -- seamless experience in terms of interacting with a lot so Internet based things and photos and videos carry them with friends so and -- -- a lot of the things that itself on does but it's just easier to use and like -- that and to bring. -- -- -- -- You're calling out commands and it's doing it for. Yeah you either club. Commander -- kind of approach pat on the side of glass to to kind of scroll through what option do you want to use dvds either. Now let me ask you what do you think will be the best application for when it's also done. Well right now I think. The best application is kind of a first person video of what it is that you're seeing so. I like -- are going to be traveling to Toronto out to be an example. And were going to be and she wants to on the top of the CN tower. And being able to get my perspective all while being out there is really cool uncle bullish on people jumping out of plane. Sir thank but it kind of find them more practically in terms of what I'm going to be dealing in the classroom is on -- to be taking. Text messages from my students were going to be able to ask me questions in -- in addition to raising their hands that he wants students or 100 students and someway it's some of them really there are reluctant to ask questions. And it's a good experience and to be able to draft a good question and in text and sent it to me and I. I think you'll add another -- dimension to classroom in our activities and. Absolutely -- navigation. It's great all well I you know -- tried it once while driving and I would say it is quite a bit distracting so much that I would use it while driving. I walking around this city like Boston. Great for getting directions and walking around so I think for that to -- Here are your -- something like that gas and absolutely right -- out so we anticipate this might be on the market for everybody else. Well I think you know that's up to who I think they're planning to. Sometime in 2014. My sense is pretty it's a pretty good product right now but they probably don't want doctor I's and -- their keys and work out a few bucks but I suspect was in the next year. Are they asking you for some. Pat yeah that's absolutely there are only a few thousand of us that are using it out in the wild that is because -- and they Xstrata our input and there's even a special web site set up for us to be able to give them. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Turn into one last question do you have any idea what this is gonna cost us when we don't want it. Outlook Google has said it's going to be. You know less than a thousand dollars but. Who knows that was nine hundred nineties its. -- but I you know I suspect it'll have to be a lot -- -- -- -- -- to. To be at maps speller so. Don't remember I don't. How technology is always starts high and -- people there are those who jumped. And I you know I suspect it will take its gotta be around the price of the cellphone -- it's much more than that I think. It's going to be a hard -- a lot of people. Well listen I was so glad that you had the opportunity to do this I hope it does go well in your classroom and good luck on that trip. Thanks so much I appreciate it. Hired Andrew Perlman from traffic along great to chat with the unit was just cross my mind that's a terrible flop. The you know he can document what he's looking at what you're married man you need to keep that in mind while you're looking around a variety. Maybe you don't want that tail -- after crop up. So based on what you never mandated review Wagner -- absolutely UB generally easier really excited. You know he's on the -- me that's my application probably didn't seem dirty enough. -- apparently. You know what I think though -- -- right about -- classroom you know if you're professor here in a big lecture this gives somebody an opportunity to ask you a direct question while you're in the lecture. Is an application for -- now they utilize on an idea. And somebody had a pair sunglasses. That were well it was also a camera. In the and he downloaded. That to his computer and when we went back to the boat we can watch the trips use zip lining with these sunglasses on it was really cool and Disney to it was high Def. It was high -- it was it was great technology so. Google coming out with some technology that. That I wonder that's part of the reason their stock prices gone up so -- right and their stock prices not right maybe they're anticipating. Millions of these. You don't Kimberly everybody's talking about how it's gonna be the wrist watch for -- exactly may -- it's the glasses -- -- the glasses are. Not only your glasses but the -- your phone. Right yeah it could be is it yet and when that it away I think that's a pretty neat thing I like the idea the navigation if you're a hiker. Or act like she said if -- strange city now I think that sounds like a really great ideas well Lou will keep in mind he would we come back Kim and are gonna talk about the teenagers. Rallying for jobs in the financial district that's our next story on the financial exchange.
