Warren Surrogate Retraction!

Time now what we're back to Elizabeth Warren. -- as you know she's falsely claimed to be an Indian for a for for many years she yeah. She was toiling away in obscurity. The University of Texas law school when she decided to begin checking the box quick when she found herself first with the University of Pennsylvania law school. And then at Harvard University is Harvard university's first woman of color. When it turns out it's. Not really the case that she's a woman of color. And Michael Patrick Leahy has been covering the story very very closely for a bright part dot com. And I he's got a he's got a new development a new twist in the story today Michael what's what's the latest on Elizabeth Warren. Story yeah actually what -- -- or westerners broke for a Lily okay so so tell me about it. Well today Massachusetts state senator captain Clark. Who you may remember in May -- ended. It was a. We have the sound cut we have the sound cut this is from MSNBC. Listen. -- hold on -- I don't I don't disagree with that but that the fact is is that he she is I guess trailing a little bit in the polls is very close within the margin. But this is the issue that they continue to push and this is the issue that the brown campaign puts out on TV and the point I'm making. Visit you know senator Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut you know made misstatements about it is us service in Vietnam. He came out at a press conference -- veteran I don't -- -- clear Barrett and any. -- -- -- -- what are very different situation than what happened where Blumenthal. OK let's -- at where Elizabeth Warren has been very clear. This is what she was taught from the time she was a long Karl. That she has. Native American relatives. And it's been demonstrated by some of the of the research that has been done that in fact our records that supports that claim. But it is a waste of our time as tax payers as voters in Massachusetts. To be focused on the generations past it in Elizabeth Warren is they only. -- issues that matter to -- here in Massachusetts are primarily economic. And those obligations this discussion needs to come around. There are records that support her claim that was what the senator Clarke said. She said that today and yet today this morning she told whatever constituents. That she is retracting her support of those claims groups. She folder consistent as what -- Lester yeah in his cap and just to her account of history. She said quote I am telling you frankly that I thought there was -- mayor's certificate at the time. All right was wrong. But listen to this the constituents said that senator -- seemed. Genuinely contrite and told her quote the MSNBC. Interview took an unexpected turn. And I wasn't prepared. So you know it sounds like the war in campaigns -- kind of threw her out there back in -- day. We'll also saw it also sounds to me Michael Patrick glee like she believed the stories in the Boston -- There was no way this will be for the Boston Globe had to run that's only retraction of its claims that there was a document. You know I think that's right and then. The constituent. -- first and scampered into tweets that -- of history. Put it we got this afternoon about 4 o'clock eastern time and she said senator. -- Clark told me today quote I was wrong. I was incorrect. About their being valid documentation in re.
