Obama underperforms and Granholm oversells

Well who -- back into the normal patterns you know. Anyway are some amazing stuff happened last night at the Democratic Convention. The big god the tension at this convention has been is it going to be an all out radical leftist Communist convention war. Is it going to effectively. Throw a shroud over its true nature. And play mainstream and there were a few moments on Wednesday. When it pretended to be a mainstream party. And some last night. But I think the you know I I don't know if I'm imagining this I talked about it earlier in the week I think Americans are starting to grafts. That this is a radical party that doesn't -- represent American values and doesn't represent mainstream America. And I think it Democrats understand I think -- Obama campaign understands that it is at risk here. But it's doing it because it sees itself -- unable. To win any new voters and all it wants to do is get the base stoked. Because it's -- you know this thing in retail. The -- on sale. So in in clothing stores for women in Europe picking our address and they go running around looking for jewelry for you or scar for whatever. Or you're here at the convenience store. Heard -- rod CVS are you coming up to the counter that we're all kids need them why is all the candy right there at the -- One probably so it doesn't get stolen by the -- -- -- but also so you're standing there waiting and what do you -- -- -- year -- -- gore -- you look at -- the minutes you're looking at the -- -- can -- the bars. And you pick one vote. -- -- -- If they keep the candy it's CVS right there at the cash registers. And handed a note in the -- did they would sell maybe 3% of what they sell. I don't know I'm just guessing. So that's add on sell -- okay and the did the -- on sale is based on the premise that it's much harder to get another customer in the store. Then it is to get the one -- in the story give you more money. And that's what the Democrats are doing this what Obama is doing. He -- I can't get any new people into the store they're running out in droves -- what is try to come into the store. Is got to get stampeded. All I can do. Is save of the people I've got please -- In other words. If you support. Barack Obama already. If you're one of the homeless people if you're one of the illegal aliens has been registered by acorn. Under some fraudulent means you're one of the dead people who votes. If you're one of the people collecting the payments. From the Democrats in or it's our money but the Democrats you know push the programs and get them signed up. And you're one of the people on the programs say all they ask -- -- is go to vote a couple times a year. They need those people and they're pushing those people. This convention and was an advertisement. To everybody who depends on the Democrats to steal money from the productive. To give to the unproductive it's depending on all those unproductive people to turn out to vote it's depending on all loves special interest groups have been -- been bribed. The unions. -- that gave movement whatever it is. They are looking to increase the percentage of those people -- gonna turn out now the natural thing to do for years ago big turnout. Big turnout of -- out for amongst young voters. They're depressed and discouraged and cynical made cynical faster than any generation in history. Because they were so deceived four years ago about the potential of the first black president the first post partisan president all dot. Nonsense story lines. That the media. Judge took. Not a magic carper right on. All those stories young people bottom blacks -- The nonsense minorities. Bought the nonsense that gave movement bought the nonsense all special interest groups. They're still for Obama because we're also they had to -- nobody else is gonna steal our money to give it to them. That's the Democrats Brent nobody else is gonna fix the government. So it's less constitutional every year in order to take -- -- these special interest groups only the Democrats do that. So they're not gonna shift parties. But they are discouraged. Because they were promised bigger payments. Than what they actually received. They or promised economic rebound. It didn't happen. They were promised that this guy I was gonna change the world. He didn't even bother trying. It was all caught. And then last night comes Barack Obama himself well let me just conclude that -- so that's what the that's what this campaign is all about that's what this convention was all about. It was saying okay we can't win any new voters. There are leaving our campaign in droves but the ones who work here are the ones who were not gonna leave. The ones who were stuck in our corral we have to make sure they show up in this convention was about getting them excited so. Barack Obama gives a speech. Last night that would have do you think that he's even lost faith. In Barack Obama that he's lost interest. In being president that he's lost interest in inspiring people. He gave among -- tedious speech on what I'd like to do is play some cuts of him up against the former governor of Michigan Jennifer grand home. She gave what I think. They were packed with partisanship. And there is a difference the president. Spends his time talking to you. Trying to make you misunderstand. What Ronnie is proposing is not a tax cut for the rich. It's about fixing the tax code so it's level and fair. And we can stop as a nation. Putting so many resources into manipulating the tax code instead of just paying a reasonable rate and everybody moving on and being productive. Now that's a legitimate debate but the president doesn't wanna winter that debate. He just wants to trick you into thinking it's something different. Was that he seems to have lost interest maybe he's bored being president you know it's too small a job for a man of his great abilities. Maybe he's bored deceiving people so we can't put his heart into it maybe he's bored with the whole notion of being transcendent. He knows it was all bald -- Maybe just bored. There is nothing in it this is a man who believes that government can and should do a lot. There's nothing in here that tells us how he's gonna go from today to tomorrow.
