Welcome back mrs. Don Nelson into our number two of the program -- -- Labor Day weekend do you think psychological. And -- summer. Those wanna hang on meteorological they don't have until September 21. 8774694322. Is the toll free phone number text message code 68680. Email address hey Nelson at W -- KL. Dot com -- -- -- genie back chain come back -- So we'll see if she does. And they -- and holding on and I know they call with they went. First credit some people's minds to line. Go back to the telephone line -- your next on the program thanks for hanging on. Probably don't apologize because it was worth closer ring true and the spirit of -- Williams and they've brought no way you and I related gave. I would just logic in your. Pinky finger at that. You saw it though they -- they -- as well thank you. Sometimes it's so easy it's just -- that. But let me let me just say you know real quick -- or debate without you know they're -- point -- -- issue. -- the same people that I guess colonized or repressed. Were enlightened enough to once they developed. Correct situation. And I don't think that as you've you've stated what white and should go like back to Africa or to experience. The lack of affirmative action. Barack. That just isn't there I mean this is something that was created by western civilization. And that hopefully will lighten -- the world eventually. Yeah you know your your your point is well taken gym in fact we got I got a text message from 978 saying white men created affirmative action. Wrongly but they did. Point that out today yeah I mean he's come his complaint was indeed the white establishment that established a former election. Yeah and that and I think debt Dinesh D'Souza pointed out Obama's. I guess subversion true colonialism. When in actuality -- I think. It's more it's part white. Because colonialism the -- just -- of fact was carried out by mostly Europeans. Delegates are you writing more -- to that yeah. It does it does but let me just -- -- real quickly here the original -- that I called. Were scored -- is what I think did he mention things that only your grandfather -- Thanksgiving. Table convention. Put it in a way that that he -- without doubt mincing any politically correct words or. You know what I mean. To you he's he you know he certainly has the standing in Hollywood. To make this statement that yes there are conservatives in Hollywood and they are being brought Robby and article liberal establishment. And actually -- a lot of people because. You should call the question what you're seeing now on television what you're seeing now. In the -- in the theaters I mean is this real reflection -- of you know talent or -- it's always been so it's true. The liberal establishment if that's the case that we are being robbed were being cheated by this this constant push towards. There's this. I guess this progressive as some that is just destroying it -- yes so from the from the inside. You know I I don't know what the progressives hope to -- by this but I think if you factor it out. But in the end if you go back a progressive look for guests progressive them out what you end up -- Is is this great existence of the Soviets out. Creativity stifled. Yeah I think any ELH. It's interesting that they always called themselves in nice sounding words like progressive -- -- I don't that progressive. Obviously meaning progress although some people have pointed out that if the opposite of pro -- come on the opposite of progress is congress. -- they did that I should make he you're right Jim that the that the war if the liberals have their way then we would end up with a system that would be quite unpleasant and quite inefficient and unproductive Jim thank you for calling. I do want to point out that there. There's a mixture of two motivations. On the left of center. -- -- Pure power remember the left believes in the aggregation. Of power. The the acquisition of authority by -- central collective. And the more authority they can collect themselves in the central authority the better they like it. They know that of course is appealing if you happen to be part of the collective. Type hey nice to be king they don't call it can't but it's nice to have that kind of power. Then the Politburo and the the guys in the Kremlin you've lived well in the Soviet Union. It's a -- the people who struggle that's one aspect of the motivation the other parties. This genuine belief misguided in my view. That somehow if we have the government running things it will be better because individuals are evil and greedy as if somehow. Government isn't populated by greed and corrupt individuals but they really think. That it would be better if everything were regulated and everything we're -- provides. I think it's a misguided philosophy I -- the evidence is out there on the contrary. The socialized nations of Europe are not doing all that well and if you take this to the where the Soviet Union was which was. The union of Soviet socialist. Republics. We know how that experiment turned out. Dictatorships and centralized authorities. Always are much worse then the vagaries and uncertainties of the marketplace. But that's what motivates these people. They're simply wrong and the only way to defeat that he is to get more votes then then they have. Couple people go back to little polish but I do wanna pick up on something he has a couple of people have. Have. Identified an error that gave mention when he said the plant closing was lying. I don't know what he meant by the open this was a comment. That Barack Obama made when he was campaigning. In the in -- which is where Paul Ryan is from there was a General Motors plant. And there was talk there was going to close and Obama shag you know always stand would really government it'll be there for a hundred years and then closed. Show is their people who have said that it was Obama promising that he can keep the plant open and he he couldn't so there's no there's no lie about the plan that dude closure was closed and under Obama but of course who was set in motion before -- General Motors. Figuring that the plan just didn't make any money where there was an efficient Iran. -- -- Email from -- Who should tell you wrote about this and many said when I was a student. In law school and ran out of money the dean told me if you're black or Hispanic I can give you money but you're not and I can't. Then he goes on to say on mission -- of things that all white people rich and powerful -- paranoid. -- piece paranoid android but he certainly is wrong and misguided about that. One last. Email -- text message for the moment from HH show. Good job putting gave his place what a joke he is first time in Massachusetts. -- my boyfriend and I can't believe that attitude is still alive. Well thank UH HL and unfortunately that attitude is very much alive. And you notice I'm suggesting. Federal Republican plank in the platform being the end of affirmative action I haven't heard the Republicans say that I mean Mitt Romney are. Or -- or more Paul Ryan. 8774694322. This is on the Nelson back to the telephone lines mark you are next on the program. Yet where that may. Oh yeah so during the break. Where we heard now Obama urged. Dark horse playing. Were reversed -- research critique goes believe we're we're pretty convention. Moxie he's dead that it looked like watching a black and white television. You could watch it I'm black and white good for you -- like you -- out and I did too and I asked Porsche can we'd won that clip. Because I want -- to get a very good that's very perceptive because of course we can now all start ranting about what -- gracious remark he made right. It yet. It shows you. Who do we have the clip we do okay hang on like here's the -- this was in the news just to the top of the hour this -- Obama speaking today. Well I watched on a black white. All -- right -- it was the Republican Convention which restrict what a horrible thing is there right. He's a racist you're you're bloodshed Mubarak actually thanks for college. -- just imagine just imagine if Mitt Romney aides said that. Not a. He -- black and white TV in the sense he made the comment that it was a rerun of things before. And it was -- old story and therefore you know go back to the days. Well until the only black and orange. -- an innocuous tournament. My -- Danish political climate political theater the people on the other side of the Republican had made that remark. We'll have been hard to racism so we can accuse the president being a racist. 8774694322. Well issue was 617. I changed stations. Consider this it's this it's it person to leaving our -- yet you give gave all that airtime too many times. -- doesn't ruin your program. Good riddance to you and de La -- now in the same category is Dave. Now detection she we can get this 617 back. And -- 77469432. Two's -- you know this horse -- controversy on talk -- And it's more fun I think -- the other side it's always judgment calls -- how long. -- you do with the other side. So you can know you can decide and if if you think overdone well. Let's go to amino. We are talking about gay Republican. National convention which was this week we have -- not a couple of clips from. From Mitt Romney's speech and I want to play EL one of them now. Do we have vehicle -- So just play one of them went to whichever one you have what did you. Asked and I. Well we want him. To break up just one more fight between the boys. So the problem with that I've heard that clip played many times I saw it and you jumped out to me it's a speech. We have mark who picked it up immediately -- again I'm in the anyway -- there's something very wrong with -- What did you ask and I. What we want him. To break up just one more fight between the boys. Pins and you -- If you ask and I is grammatically incorrect if you ask any meat is correct and -- -- remark I know it's a small point. And I know I tend to focus on language -- words are important words have meaning words have consequences. Words on the the the formula for ideas is finally on the language of ideas and ideas have consequences. So it's important to get the language straight and I know there -- others. -- -- -- -- -- I find it remarkable lady could get that wrong how many pairs of eyes most of reviewed that speech I know -- speechwriters working on. It's going to be and -- mile later was said you could do any thing. I know Enron he -- reviewed that speech that was at ten wasn't a slip of the tongue that was until prompted mentioned he'll be written that way. Can you imagine getting them wrong. And just find it remarkable. News -- educated people and a lot of them. And it may be a little point -- don't trip over little things that seemed silly to make that kind of mistake. I've found it offensive and look forward to a couple other people who are more sensitive to language and they found that offensive to military is something. You know if you if Joseph Biden or. Barack Obama makes grammatical errors she we should pick out on the and they shouldn't everybody -- slips of the tongue I understand that Patricia was stripped it. Hillary being born over that script in the mirror. 8774694322. And then you will be concerned I'm criticizing I understand the grand scheme of things. Much more important what the positions are. And shortly Romney and Ryan are much better situated to help this country. Then Obama that doesn't mean that we should. Allow or tolerate. Grammatical errors so much talk -- educating the children and all. Back to low lying to 8774694322. Jim connection program -- My friend -- I'm even though mr. Boucher no problems I -- all the good yeah okay I have gone and you know they're greatest threat. You know Jim Jim the program starts at three we'll never know here in this day. He's the guy can really dominant they got what they drove -- -- -- net and in the -- okay guys. Gotta admit to give me a little bit. Early you know I've been on a blackboard like trying to kid though like you -- -- need -- know. Truly getting. Yes you're absolutely right you all this is Joseph Biden who put you all back and change. Can't tell -- -- -- know what I would I would do mystery guest is going to be so that the Democratic Party and -- them if I -- pleased that I valued -- And I intend to -- this week and I can't help you guys you've got the bad situation is so good you know playing good you know would create -- -- -- I imagine that now this step a day like apple we're going to be the mystery -- for Obama like. I mentioned that there on this street got to do is limited -- unlimited talk big but no -- you know let's. -- -- Yeah I hear you're available -- you know Jack -- road and an email. Who says that the criticism Clint Eastwood is all gonna disappear after Menino speech had the Democratic Convention right. -- never let them speak. I know it's amazing isn't and that being the world is gonna find out that this guy he is the mayor of a major city in the in the United States. Just just. -- you know -- really know that we get out of I don't I don't got a rough and I loved Ali you go can't. Dude like I actually not you let you listen you know I'm not absolutely no idea that mr. David -- and I'm big man. Thanks thanks let your guard but I remember. But by the way as Jim they changed in point this show. And he's posted after the pro camp remotely as any issues is anymore. Porsche active producer post the program after it's over should he go to wrko.com. And follow the instructions. You could listen to this program. Online. No oil major computer he and after the program. Is finished we post the whole thing shell. You can if you have missed a portion of it or if you want to hear it again if you didn't get enough to have. Dave's call you can you can go listen to it. On not a computer and notch that she generally the case so in any given week you you can listen to the program. Dave writes in a different game film can nurses is his day right shin. Said art gala dinner have a black host Reese Hopkins but unfortunately viewers are wrenched it. That is correct. This -- in response to the comment that was made that or care in many black coach Reese Hopkins was serious -- few years ago now. Time he was on the air on our kill for a while. And that this past did catch up with them I have no idea where he is now but thanks thanks for reminding us of that -- -- 77469. 4322. Is the phone number. The text message code wanna join in here. He is 68680. And the email address and Nelson until we are here dot com and you can see -- We take communication. From all venues. -- back to the telephone line is -- your next on the program good afternoon. I how -- you know thank you. Good I'm calling because now I know we're talking about -- -- which right. Very sorry admit it but he was talking about the black vale of -- outage. Other conservatives in -- well I I had so hypocritical because. If you need it made a movie with Robert De Niro and I guess we guiding the black -- how -- I'm much happier at the bit how the liberal acted -- she's acting is work. Couldn't get work because they work a -- with communism and how Sandra Bullock why. Right and now announced joined in a way the other way of course there is a different showing and that that was the government. And this is just sort of prejudice from within the industry. But the but chilling out a -- your point is well taken it's it's gone to the other side now -- very hard to be a conservative in Hollywood. There are few of them know Clint Eastwood was one. -- a guy who played a Frazier -- Kelsey Grammer right. -- grammar yes I love him. He's he's conservative. Sure there'll John's boy is another one whose engine was I think John -- was the Republican Convention so there are fewer of them. But I don't Charlton Heston was always no longer alive. Yeah you're right there are some but it's very difficult and people have mentioned. That's the bias. Is very hard against people who -- right of center in Hollywood. Hearing will -- remember the days you look at this say World War II. When Hollywood was very pro America. Now. You know it's sure it's somewhat dubious and sometimes some of them left wing activism. Is downright anti American so your your point is we'll take. Caddy even though you mentioned adequate government. Government initiated before and now it's Hollywood speak and we felt that this same about the actors cannot get work. So the end result is pretty much the same resolve the day after limiting the work. All of these people because of their political affiliation. Well good point and you think you're right join him and that's not it's not supposed to happen that way tell -- JoAnne if you were running Hollywood studio. Would you sure bias against left wing actors. Now you were just whoever's the best talent. Absolutely. I thought politics had nothing to do with. You know with the challenge and go to work that you should put politics intrude into getting -- getting. Elected political war. That's the difference between those on the right -- left -- -- that's -- that's why we're -- people and they -- Thanks thanks for comment but. -- Page 7746943. To do I have good news. We I just got an email. From -- Who said. OK your back on itself. We build our audience wine person all the time right this is we tell -- stress the individual. -- from five OH text message. I look forward -- days -- he proves our point did liberals -- saying every time. You know it's interesting -- -- David become a thing to show -- little bit like Clint Eastwood. Almost. A focal point away from the main focal point. I thought eastwood's performance was very good but I must say that all this talk is indeed a distraction. The more we talked about Eastwood blessed for talking about -- neither Republicans and the main issues but that's gonna fade -- in a week Russia. Back on the other side of a break I'm on the innocent small business. Welcome back I'll -- Nelson here. Take you through the program on this Labor Day weekend. I mentioned the beginning of the program mentioned again the movie 2016. To Obama's America. Polish that I shot. Earlier this week and I would recommended. Playing in theaters in the area. She had an email from and -- -- fill Tom Celek is another conservative and Hollywood right. Then she -- please don't ever stop the banter with Dave Lowell police fighters had to -- when you quote put him down. Unquote -- your show thank you land shake -- Davis polarizing figure so people like it. The Irish take a different point of -- Okay 8774694322. Greg you're next on the program good afternoon. They think rather DiMarco well which is a couple quick comments arm. Fantastic about -- -- speech was. Clearly worded. I thought we are the Christian preachers enjoyable. And I got a Romney and I was completely disappointed that I really. Yet here really exposed. You know more conservative course port facilities such a weak candidate. How well she weekend. I that's funny Greg because I had a different reaction I thought Romney's speech was really good now looking you know the objective that he had there was part of it. Why do what they call humanize it make -- more likable and get away from the sure this stiffness that -- this is DV aloofness. Should that was -- they significant portion in this speech obviously another objected. Bush to show. How he likes women and you know has worked well with women. And then there was the you know on the more -- was a conceptual art what bothered you about it. Well you know one it is still think it's funny because just to talk about -- women like these like these feminists do. Black jobs don't have a a war on women the conventional warmer but that's right side of the earth. But what I want to say it was you know the one of the biggest problems with both of you hope Romney and Obama. Is fortunately here to be talking about is. Yes -- everybody wants to get back to America everybody wants you know. The American economy to be restored but what things that really complicates stack. Is globalization. It's also easy -- It relocated and they were always other nations. I'm obviously capitalists. Both capitalism in some ways is what is. It a vehicle by which the you know a lot of the -- is one of the vehicles that is cause. You know Americans orders to be. I'm a winner away every. Well well who -- -- I I would say that virtual pure capitalism doesn't exist anywhere. There's more in this is still freer country than most other places. And we're -- can do better than most other place in which is why people trying to break camp. With -- -- who really need some better enforcement of the border. In and where enforcement of our immigration laws but I don't know that I would blame capitalism. Threw that in cavaliers who is a magnet. Well I'm not sure he had suffered through the border as well I'm saying is this. You'll get a lot of these corporations somewhat anti corporate but you look at it I mean are CEOs that have literally no allegiance to any particular nation. They just don't operate throughout the world and they're pretty much just like freelancers they have no. That's so what's the one problem was that I have withdrawn these analysis is. You know yes and -- could go the past hundred years to prove that capitalism. Is the system socialism is. Beyond child I I'm trying to understand what it is that you have a -- well I'm I think Romney would agree would you if you with what you just said. -- They work or Anastasia. While he wants to restore America are wrong he wants to restore. America as a sovereign. Dependent nature which I completely agree with -- you got to realize that one of the reasons. Those states have been undermined is because of global capitalism. Well okay -- thing I guess I'm having trouble finishing on the big free trade guy. And I I like the marketplace to work I don't need people to be. Angelic or to have some kind of if self sacrificing interest that somehow they should. They should do things they're gonna be good for others but not good for themselves. I am a firm believer in the invisible line and then Adam Smith. Talked about in the wealth of nations and 1776. I think that people motivated by their own self interest. Really in the aggregate lead to a better society for everybody. Now which we're going to be perfect there are vagaries. Uncertainties. Imperfections in the marketplace. There are always going to be people who try to cut corners try to do things that are improper or even illegal. But on net I would shouldn't take my chances with the marketplace. Then I would with government control once you start turning over regulation to the government. Hey it's never ending they'll always want more. And -- becomes much more inefficient and much more corrupt because you have people who -- this power. And who use it for their own personal ends much more so. Then they will for the good of everybody else so you know what the same kind of corruption except it's worse because these laws are passed for everybody. They'll -- like General Motors I can buy a car from a different company. There's no company I can't get away from you but you can't get away from the government. Hellish for international trade. There's an interesting article that appeared to -- Phil I think I have little I didn't know as a -- people were complaining. In the senate race here the US senator. That both candidates were you seeing media I'm pretty -- to produce their ads from outside the state. They're doing in the United States not China but -- outside of Massachusetts. Then there was complain all gays should be used Massachusetts she -- -- parochial. Interpretation. Of the same thing that goes on international if we can build the widget. Overseas. In Transylvania. Ship it over a year and cost less than building new widget in this country we'll watch we ought to do. Because that means people here can get to widgets for -- makes for more productive they have money left over so I'm not fearful of globalization. The tax laws are different issue because we've done things to make it more difficult for our company between now the highest corporate tax rates in the world. I'm encouraging for people to build corporations. 8774694322. Is the phone number. A couple other things I want to get to -- age 617 interest and text message share. Can you picture President Obama giving the same speech is Mitt Romney. We're counting his radical leftist passed now is dead was an American Haiti Marxist. His mother moon -- -- and his manager -- Lewinsky Bill Ayers and Franklin and Marshall Davis. America deserves to hear about the president's -- Franklin and Marshall Davis by the way that name that might not be familiar. Was hired as Obama's teacher Franklin when he was younger. I mean get a kid and -- Marshall Davis was -- card carrying member of the Communist Party no -- Actual card with a number on it I'm night -- I'm not being hyperbolic or you're doing red scare stuff he was a member of the Communist Party. But you know hey look what people get where they're growing up to growing up in this list of managers the one that's left alone and I think is the most important. Is the reverend Jeremiah Wright because that was a mentor that Obama chose. As an adult and he too is an American aiding Marxist does not like. The free enterprise system thinks that he affect for the you know the Palestinians have been subject to racism. You remembered god damn America. And he was the one who called America and senate. These. The land of the free home of the brave the land of the greed and home of the slave that's -- Right through. My pastor who I I speak about the chapter in the book I think represents the best of what. The black church just off. Here. That's that speaks volumes but a good point wouldn't be interesting to hear your Obama's biography. Another clip from Romney we've got one last -- one play here from the Romney's speech just always very good by the way. You know there's something wrong with a kind of job he's done as president. When the best feeling you had was the -- you voted for him. Yeah good line. One more clue you one more picture that's. We should President Obama promised to begin to slow the rise of the oceans. And heal the planet's. My promise. Is to help you -- your family. Then there was applause after that what a world delivered line. You know print but one man promising candidates so we're almost typical of Obama. That to take care of the cosmos in the galaxy. -- Then Mitt Romney recognizing this okay let's bring this down to earth that we can help the individual and his family we've accomplished something. Don't play very well taken. 8774694322. Eric your next in the program grant. A good good afternoon ought to be armed. View it as just devastated bode well Obama's pastor and how he was grown in influence stint in the been ingrained in interred at this pop. What president mr. Obama -- Each we talked. -- -- Interior in the same respect our children in our country and I suggest to keep your screen there. That -- sweet yeah they are a class action lawsuit. Arm. That actual you know Arctic are getting -- they're saying. That's just discussed. Are all in the in the school system where -- there they're tried. None of ball that great special American Indians working in expiring. In. Com each kick it into more so you are a lot of good that they're full type both are. I thought that Obama was group -- to a lesser degree. You know I rewrite the education problem in this country that they're not taught about it. How warned recruiting American system this. That's been hijacked -- policies and what we we need to bar. I don't know about the missing in in being together from the community wants. Not to a centralized government. Certain dictating everything the state being no better then then all of posture we're in -- -- -- -- consulting. This president -- is that it's only thing -- -- it -- my parents didn't think that that. And he just award while with the same problem in Egypt to rightward direction of it and think that the Americans are direct simple and then something else and you are. That -- you're playing your point is well taken thank you for the call and that -- part of this is an education problem. Visual portable seems to me given the bias of the mainstream media the bias in education that this country is still center right country. You know I've -- numbers somewhere here that points -- most people think of themselves as conservative much more -- than liberal. And so you know that there is an instinctive understanding. That were better off with more freedom and less government most people are afraid that government will do too much rather than too little I -- made one other point here though this. Usually have talked about like ability. And you hear every time you turn on the news this talk about. Geez Ronnie likeable all look at the like ability if you ask a question who is more likable it's overwhelming for Obama. -- -- of asking the question what why is this so much emphasis on this -- shrink for a moment that you're supposed to hire.
