Will Deval Patrick sign Melissa's Bill?

We got so much stuff the cover I don't know where to -- honestly I don't know where to begin. But. The governor. Don't fall. I love to paroled rapists Patrick is Bakken and yields. This this guy you want talk about a liberal piece of work this guy is unbelievable this guy can mean is is unbelievable. For those who viewed I don't know it is an open secret here in Washington DC. That Governor Deval Patrick has essentially been auditioning. To replace Eric Holder as the next attorney general should. Obama win a second term and win reelection. And -- now. Which the state legislative session. Several days away from ending. Taking there are rehab being off for this summer. They are now desperately. Lawmakers. Democrats. And Republicans in both houses. They are now desperately trying to pass a very important crime bill. And for those of you who are not aware of the case. In 1999827. Year old teacher. With the world literally in front of her. Melissa. Gospel. By all accounts a wonderful teacher in wonderful daughter. I admired by her students deeply -- by her friends and family members. Was kidnapped. Brutally raped and murdered. Her case. Ignited a firestorm. Of criticism. Across all of Massachusetts in fact it even made national headline news because the man who raped and killed her. Had been paroled. And he had been convicted. 27. Things. He wasn't just a repeat offender he was the mother of all repeat offenders in -- convicted 27 francs. And yet they kept per rolling him and -- rolling him and rolling him. Until she was eventually dead. And raped and brutalized. And so now a bill called Melissa's bill. Has been circulating the legislature. With both Democrats and Republicans desperately trying to get a pots and what is his bill essentially say it says three strikes and you're out. It says if you committed three serious crimes then that's it you no longer eligible for parole. And there will be a mandatory maximum sentence apply. Now to me that's just common cents. Okay you make one mistake. Okay we'll forgive you you do your time that bullet -- out in -- give you a chance okay you commit a second crying. OK. But we're warning you now you'd that say this is your last chance. You commit a third crime and that's it it's over. You'll not get parole and there will be mandatory match. So mom sent inspection must. Fill out to the end. Her father. Less gospel. Is now running around the state legislatures you can imagine if I think of this sport man his daughter was murdered. Raped he will never see your again. His life has been destroyed by this. That of his family has been destroyed by this and he's on his hands in the least practically begging for them to cost Melissa's bill and you know -- -- it. Deval Patrick why is Deval Patrick blocking this bill. Because he's auditioning to be the next Eric Holder he's now come out and said -- On I don't like this. This Melissa's bill the problem with that is. You cut off the possibility for parole at three at at at three convictions I don't like this three strikes and your -- I want to water it down I. I he had sent it back saying I want an amendment to Melissa's bill that gives the sentencing judge did discretion. If the judge feels it's appropriate even after the third time to third conviction. That that pearl got to the person to still be eligible for parole. Are you kidding me. Governor Deval Patrick is putting the rights of criminals ahead of the victims. And but is what liberal politicians have been doing for decades. What about Melissa golf souls rights. What about all the other for victims his rights don't they have rights. How can you allow. -- violent dangerous criminal. To be walking the streets of Boston and Massachusetts or anywhere for that matter. And not tell me that after awhile they have given up their right to parole I wanna judge sentences them they have to serve out the maximum sentence. But -- should be mandatory maximum sentences. I'm sorry you've given up -- if you been convicted for three times in a row. You've given up your rights I'm sorry you now have to serve a maximum sentence to me that's just common sense. This is not even a conservative position. There are all Democrats all in the house in the state senate. They agree with this as well the person of blocking this is the -- Patrick. He's now threatening to reveal this he wants to kick the can down the road he knows the session ends in a couple days. He wants to wind belt -- walk. That's all he's doing now. Jest we -- out the walk. So he doesn't have to sign this bill. Because -- as the one facing tough on criminals that's not gonna show -- him well when he. Interviews for the job as the next attorney general under a second Obama -- And what -- to me remarkable about Deval Patrick. It is not just the fact that he is coddling these criminals. It's that he has a history of coddling these criminals. You think Jeff come on now you -- exaggerated when you mean he's he's he's coddling he's been coddling criminals for years. When he ran for them our governor of Massachusetts in 2006. It came out. Then he for years and tell me what kind of a man does this for years. He had been writing letters she had been corresponding. You spend years corresponding with -- can with -- can. Convicted rape -- Are you kidding me. This is the governor of Massachusetts. This man has a history of coddling criminals. He can't get enough of coddling criminals. And it's not just that he's in bed with criminals. It's not just that he's soft on criminals but seriously there's something I believe there is something seriously wrong with -- -- Patrick. Do you know what this guy's big anti crime initiative is -- He's been proposing this for years. You're gonna say Jeff. Come on you're doing it's for comedic effect it this can't be true again -- bullet. His plan. Is he believes the problem in prisons is that criminals don't have enough time to play basketball. They should be playing more basketball if they played more basketball. They'd be happier in prison they could possibly rehabilitate. I would turn them into better human beings and he believes there is quote they were right I'm not making this up I'm telling you -- -- They write to properly inflated basketball's. The but the problem and our prison system and a problem with crime in America is there's too many a deflated basketball it's totally deflated basketball and our state prisons. We're got to check the air pressure now. So his big initiative is not just for the state of Massachusetts but should he become attorney general he wants all the state presents. Descend around guys that I checked the air pressure on basketball's make sure that basketball -- properly inflated. So they can dribble the ball up and down. Up and on the basketball courts. Yeah as they're making their drug deals on the -- -- and or drug built on the site and -- on what's happening in the showers as they're playing around -- the -- has put it that way. Another story in the Boston Herald I couldn't believe this. All of you know about the electronic benefits transfer card it's essentially a card it's it's a form of welfare you get the card. Instead of getting. Checker whatever you have a car with a certain amount of money. Thanks to the Boston Herald. The abuses in the AB key card in the EBT card forgive me have been exposed. And so now. Legislators again Democrats. And Republicans. Said will hold on now. The that that the taxpayers of Massachusetts pay a lot of money into local welfare to state welfare they're the ones that -- -- -- BT. And all these cards. OK you're on welfare find beyond welfare but is there for food. Is there for basic necessities. Is there to buy clothes is there to put food on the table it's not dare to go to the casino holes. You wanna talk about a man who's really auditioning for the attorney general's job. This remember this is the governor of Massachusetts. He is the chief law enforcement officer of our state. A Massachusetts of this of the great state of Massachusetts. He says it's through his spokesperson. That the only provisions of the bill that he will enforce. Or is always good deal with casinos and jewelry stores. But when it comes up alcohol boobs liquor cigarettes. Lottery tickets. Got to lose. Mall that he won't enforce. -- you and I can force a par I would force that part of the bill. The Democrats. In the state legislature are up in arms and what do you mean you're only gonna selectively enforce the parts of the bill that you like what are you now a dictator. We all wanna be dictator now you'll only enforce what you like and you enforced the other parts of a lot that you don't like. So now the welfare scam artists. You're a legal resident of Massachusetts and of the United States. And hence you have to prove their current show proof of legal residency yes and then you can register your Carter. My home not according to Deval Patrick. Why because -- all Patrick said this should be discriminatory against the illegal immigrants. -- on on on all we cannot be singling out be illegal immigrants and aliens not on on all we can ask people who are residency status. So it's fine -- free illegal aliens that come with phony driver's licenses and register their cars. Would do ball. Patrick is doing. Is she is now giving a -- any wink. Saying good Boston is eight is a Sanctuary City and Massachusetts. Is a sanctuary state. We will allow people who have broken the law. Coming to this country illegally many of them committing numerous crime it's. To be able to come to Boston and register their car.
