House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is hinting that all those boos toward Mitt Romney on Wednesday at the NAACP convention may have been exactly what the former governor was counting on. “I think it was a calculated move on his part to get booed at the NAACP convention,” Pelosi said in an interview with Bloomberg TV on Wednesday. She did not elaborate further during the three-minute interview clip provided by Bloomberg. Avi discusses this and continues the conversation on outsourcing and the economy.

As a full member you know it is dangerous to know that I find myself thinking that in a way. This selection. Does have to do almost without a cultural question about it. Where we are and where we're going as Americans and is -- a psychological. Component to this election -- I think. If Mitt Romney can somehow tapping into that. His campaign would benefit. Ronald Reagan was able to do it and fact at that time geezer I remember I was involved with that campaign. Nobody saw it coming. Nobody nobody was aware that people were fed up with the generation of America and that has rating was campaigning. People were. Where -- finding enthusiasm. In his message and I -- Newfound. Enthusiasm for the country and that's one of the reasons I think that in the end. It during that first election from -- Reagan's first election. All the pundits and the analysts in the polls show Jewish generations to -- to call and in the end Reagan won handily. And I think it was because they were said. That pent up. Interest. In being patriotic. Now. Obama to a large extent has undercut that. He talks about things like you mean the -- and bringing everybody together. But he campaigns in exactly the opposite of that. He campaigns. With nastiness. Campaigns on class warfare. Jewish talking about trying to going to -- tax the rich people trying to get people who aren't rich. To go along -- -- only ashes and it wouldn't be great if we. -- socket too are are wealthier neighbor so he well he uses the words of unity and bringing people together. In reality these tactics are exactly the opposite we look at the nastiness and he's used against Mitt Romney. Not challenging Mitt Romney on his policies. He's challenging him might she wouldn't wish he -- being in it and -- I'm sure she -- a man who Obama who has the unmitigated gall to talk. About somebody who has. Bids the private sector and started companies in this started visions Obama's done none of that. And what do you would you -- he tries to find something where all he didn't do it right. So it's it's -- Nash is a little clip. I want to play now. This Morocco bombings don't -- attention because he was asked -- question. What was your failure -- what was your biggest mistake. In this first term in office. Many -- and cause a little bed but the end result when he finally spits it out is enlightening. The mistake. Of my first trip a couple of years. Was. Thinking that this job was just about getting the policy right. And that's important. But. You won't win the nature of this office is. Also. To tell a story to the American people that. Gives them a sense of unity and purpose and optimism especially during tough times. Now. A couple of things should tell a story to the American Youth League and interpret that he either way depending on whether you're for -- against. You can say for those who are skeptical. Story as in the sense of inventing a story -- just -- says something good -- the good PR. If you're a fan of Obama you would shake. And what he meant was since he had to. They talked about the divorce and really -- -- in -- a matter of policy. It was a matter of personal attack. Joked there's an element of fraud here. He and that he pretends to sell him in favor of unity and per permission and lofty goals but in reality that's not what we're getting. In fact Mitt Romney has not been particularly. Attacking on the personal level and in May have to get there. So we can have some energy and and some some reason why people will stand up and say yeah. That's right. It's nice to have a cool calm demeanor when you're the president in the United States but to get there there's gonna have to be some passion. 8774694322. -- a phone number text message code 68680. That are making widgets and other things for the American public in because there in Mexico. Those widgets cost us a lesson -- -- widget you know wages to defeat the fictional. That number one could be up to the average hourly wage in Mexico is approximately one Paula you -- I'll walk. But being work ethic is different -- these people had just start to work and they work. A lot hotter then a lot of people are changing the US. Okay so don't realize I guess I would ask the same question then if we are providing them we mean the American consumer you and I can't. If we -- The -- made in Mexico. And still cost less because we'll take your number I'm not sure tried for a dollar an hour and they work hard. He said bad should we say no longer buy American still that's gonna cost 500 dollars is that a 400 dollars. And this guy in Mexico. Who was working hard for a buck an hour now he doesn't have a job at all we have we done something which is good or not. Well did did it get capitalism. You have free enterprise sprite and all you -- durable are again which wears. I don't argue with you for years -- -- -- -- retired 67 and Nancy are a lot of jobs go overseas. But to me that outsourcing is city all -- only 90% of the jobs are outsourced. Lot of it was done -- for the automation in the industry -- work that. They -- the good jobs as technical jobs. Are still here. You know it's just that whole -- from Toledo. Education that they charge are still care. You're right there are good that trying to. So you know the days have gone to work when you're eighteen General Motors. And in the important widget in the car. Are all over automation and didn't get -- -- most of that years ago. And we just -- -- automation and -- -- overseas. Well you argue your point is we'll tell you -- though that some of this has to do with technology and the invention of technology. Then we remember were better off because of that you know it. Railroads don't put people out of work it's not like boy just think of all the people we can employ if we we hired people the whole freight on their -- between hearing Chicago right. There was no way of looking at this Sony and outsourcing technology. Does that mean that somehow we shouldn't disparage. The people in Ohio or the people in California. Because they come up with a technology. That is more advanced. But technology makes us all more productive. Railroads really do make things more efficient. We are not better off having people all the stuff on the on their backs. Elevators are not job destroyers. Hi good afternoon telling you he's. Good interest in conversation and that and it is kind of complicated. But it just a couple of comments and now listen off off the air that's OK okay I'm for the gentleman was talking about. You know trying to buy American and supporting jobs. I agree with him and I think there's a lot of people that would do that but it's really hard to do. Go try to find stuff that's actually manufactured in the US are identified. It's really difficult to find. Yes it is you know why that's the case Linda because people. Have decided that they don't want to spend more money just because it's made here -- there. That's right I think it would be you know interesting experiment to see if there was. You know a kiosk or something in this story that said this stuff is made in America and you -- see if people go about it. I know even when I traveled in the ninety's and went to Australia. To England. And when I do I tried out buy things locally as souvenirs or whatever hit it was an easy Danny's. You know I think you wouldn't get better because they have some things that are. You know manufacturer is to the queen or whatever but now. It is a hard thing to do the other thing I think what people were a little upset about with these. Olympic uniforms. And maybe I'm naive and and -- to frugal but. As far as that was -- it doesn't sound for the price of these items that they got a very good deal. You know I even think that there be some manufacture -- could make a tie for less than a hundred dollars. -- told -- -- and the far less than 700 yeah and and if in fact there isn't a US manufacturer. They could do that. That's a very interesting you know better than. Thank you and your -- is an interest in their information and and I don't know the details Richard rush it sounds like they did a good job even do well. Just wondering you know did all that money really go to China -- go to Ralph Lauren are widespread. It would have been nice if they at least try this sources in the country and then if they couldn't. If they could say that. Well I thought I stood next time and I think you but the -- Winter Olympics that they're gonna be all. Blue source sticker in the American made -- you're right I like your idea Linda I had no idea that -- -- going to try to back. I was yourself like you're ideally new revenue kiosk. We have two sweaters. Sales right one is says made in America and it cost. You -- pick a number of forty dollars. And then there's another one that says made in in China or Transylvania. Or Mongolia or wherever. And it's that gosh 45 got. And be inching to see what happens I contend that coach already been taken which is why you have so -- try to remain in America. Okay 7746943. Q2 I wanna expand the so we talk a little bit about Romney and -- -- to go on -- they. You're probably familiar with the story this past week as he addressed the NAACP. National. Association for the advancement of colored people. There and when he got to obamacare which he said he was going to -- Georgia is an understatement. He got booed. No mention Pelosi. Has managed to -- toward this into. That Romney. Did you intentionally. So here's here's our own mansion. Well I think it was a calculated move on his part to get food at that NAACP convention. Of course calculated move meaning of course he was going to get a whole bunch of votes for people were from -- But filming ms. Pelosi. Why is -- that the NAACP. Folks were complicit in that. If they think that. Bring Romney was doing it intentionally. To get votes. -- there should be -- there any -- he's gonna get booed and that's gonna translate into political benefit. He's such what he thought 'cause otherwise you wouldn't have done it. Why would they complicit. They are the ones who made it work right. If they had endured. According to Nancy Pelosi. Ron -- did you order failed. Because he wouldn't have been able to get brood. So I noticed that but I can't tell. It's hard to decide whether pollution is moronic or malicious. And I go back and forth whether she's suffering from terminal stupidity. Or terminal -- much. -- -- depending on what she's saying. But notice -- where her argument leads. Her argument leads that Mitt Romney did you intentionally. But the people led the NAACP. Obviously they weren't they were working to advance from the senate must be stupid. That's policies take. On the people at the meeting right. Well it was a calculated move on his part to get food at -- NAACP convention. But they had to participate. There boom. The Fed won't. Broadly worded -- they're sharing a -- repeal Obama care -- G would have done any political blip. So since Nancy Pelosi has got to believe that the NAACP. Folks are not to mention -- cause especially. When he talks about repealing obamacare. She must think they're stupid. I mean there are only two choices here if they're complicit of their stupid. Non believer boy she can't think they're complicit. She she must think they're stupid that's a terrible. Racist attitude to have ms. Pelosi -- black people are stupid. I'm shocked actually shot. 87746943. Content. Over those of you listen to this program which some regular. You all know that the next caller. Is a properly introduced but I know you've been waiting for Dave good afternoon your next on the program. Bobby the be there you go again. Throwing around words describe this it's stupid and our product but it's someone cause you name get a -- wanted to cry in which entails is between Muehlegg. You'd be surprised I don't have a -- more day. You can see it depends on the name you can't really tell me tell me -- word did I did anything wrong you -- an idea -- I really go wrong what. I mean look what Mitt Romney -- that picabo he would Sunday. Right Mitt Romney was playing should be Bull -- Archie Bunker crowd the crowd enlist into. Go ports only just double it's now a million RB crowd listened to your program about the crowd -- -- is what age you change your hobbies do you seem like you're gonna I hyper and that. Now you're not letting you know one of the -- -- a day to -- no no no you have to listen I'm asking you again. He you're saying you're taking the Pelosi line that Romney did this intentionally to get mode. But yet works only if he gets booed if you NAACP. Been. NAACP members don't bully and then his strategy would fall apart so why did they boo him. -- -- -- Romney did is what you do and what direction busiest lightweight proud to live mouse into classic followed on -- days they talk about Obama yes army army. It definite no -- got past Obama jail or it'd be affordable care act's. He called the -- affordable care -- don't call hello Bobby let's -- a big election obviously the cold calls Obama yeah. Lipton I'll meet you use -- You use up to hold words to denigrate. Did you look how are you RB Clinton and a patent as Republicans are you the truth is people of color the same -- colored people. Ready and it outsourcing jobs when he's -- China does not in the act. -- -- Can't time Eddie -- lobbying elected you can explain it all you want you can make a ball being -- -- -- -- -- Romney's which. You will you don't want Romney remnick you're rundown. People in history and you will still defend him. -- I don't know of anybody who has been rundown in the street by Mitt Romney. No and if I see. Don't defend him all Obama Clinton are being -- its -- -- a long time ago you know that in your Shaq didn't. Which is where where African American male it's getting to a point where Guinea dike yet. A -- you know we had a -- couldn earlier said. Did you -- problem with white women now beginning yeah. Democrats and the balance here. We are being you know I'm really is and there's a simple reason why I defend Mitt Romney as a although both Barack Obama. And that is because Obama doesn't know the first thing about economics and the -- -- and the policies that he's following. -- -- an automatic to the united -- yes. They're not that long and too little. Quick points. -- -- points but that's an -- demand that you've been voted. Why would why would anyone. I don't have to change policies that got us into the mess why do we go back he had no usual. The most important. 200 Cilic championship team -- other into the champions. And that could invite an amateur just someone who had rejected by the afternoon voted like yourself -- the. Say -- David thank you for dollar that. The problem here is that Obama's policies usually have followed now for a full -- -- Has failed we have high unemployment we have a stagnant economy. We have somebody who has never been in the private sector and doesn't have any feel for it that's why I oppose. Mean you Barack Obama and that's why support Mitt Romney. Do you like to make it sound like discuss selling you the skin color I promise -- -- Barack Obama wakes up tomorrow. And is seen the light each. And decides to embrace capitalism I will be a fervent supporter of it. As I am let's say Thomas sole. You know I think there there are people who espouse ideas daily -- she -- have trouble getting past that. So when you can make the argument. When you can't base your. Your contentions on logic. You have to fall back to the tired old nonsense about race you'd think British would be. He finished product here because reelected -- elected the first black president of the United States. But doesn't work that way at all. That you guys guys like you need race in order to continue to maintain your point of view. The logic fails you showed you resort to name calling into two races. You never -- so the question as to why the NAACP. Members were complicit -- Mitt Romney in brewing -- Should he can get all his political benefit. 8774694322. Is -- phone number. We go back through telephone lines -- we do okay Peter your next on the program good afternoon. Always good the cost of business going up because. Regulations and new regulations Obama's but -- you didn't talk by another giant factor. We have the highest corporate tax rate in the world. Yes you're right Bob -- So say they will send jobs overseas. To -- industrial not the United States. Used to be we were second to Japan and that Japan lowered there's so were the highest in the world. That's on -- You know it's it's taxed more they get less of something. That's true or more I don't know what that what you think it's on purpose who's doing what on purpose. Do you think we have the highest tax rates in order to what deliberately hurt the American economy. Yes we -- corporation can make more profit cheaper way to lower taxes. And they're gonna we have got good the United States and industrialized world Asia. Wu who is doing and why should do that. So owner the cooperation why would they want to do that boat anchor well why one the only reason corporation. It knows there's billions of consumerism in Asia. Does its consumer here. Well the best. I'm I'm not sure that the -- consumers share more money -- emotionally and -- but beyond that. What they would still have the consumers in Asia if they lower tax rates here I was tired can -- trade benefits corporation or corporate leaders. And there is a bit. The new -- they're sending jobs overseas. Why don't work why would they want why would you want higher tech trips. How does how does that help how does -- just held them where they were gonna I'm shores jobs or not. I don't know I'm neither thanks Peter page 774694322. Is the phone number. Let's say from -- -- one doesn't Obama's buddy G outsourced jobs of course. Mean there are a lot of corporation is a deal where if where if -- had -- foreigners to deal with other nations they deal with us true. Okay. Well. We'll continue to I wanna introduce something cool a little bit different now has to do with a congressional -- with this is in addition to. Not instead of show for those of you wanna continue to progress this year it's fine. But this -- it was during a global editorial -- -- mission congressional race in Massachusetts. Between John tearing the incumbent Democrat and Richard to Shea Republican. To say has been a legislator he ran for lieutenant governor last time Charlie Baker. And what's interesting is that there was a globe editorial. -- globe struggles. Where if the position that cheering finds himself in net for those of you are not following this. Tyrannies wife Patrice. -- gifts from one brother among to at least ten that tens of thousands of dollars. And this is involved with. And offshore. Turned out to be illegal gambling operation. That was being run by the two Brothers. John Tierney assure you know anything about. His wife got all his money but none I didn't never -- Okay. Show your question -- -- Think I'm sure you -- the voters in that district. Have to make decisions as to whether this sound plausible. Then after the trial the two Brothers were convicted this isn't that the Brothers him who turn these Brothers mauled the wife's Brothers.
