What is it what's one on here with the state police here currently the the penalty now the story is that there are say -- last week. I don't ask job's gonna ask you this question you know I I know I know there's you know. Courtesy among cops if you wanna call it that. But if you were state -- And you saw a guy another state caught up in he was going down. The wrong way on memorial prize in Cambridge. -- wanna park -- about you know like some kind of they you know a little girl were meets suburban agency world as well would be you'd get into a lot of trouble -- -- suburban. Dead end street if I had about a four lanes where there's always traffic India our that they are night. And this guy is going down the street the wrong way. And they don't arrest them I mean. I don't know I'm you know again I I endorsed mostly I heard that I heard it this morning on the radio on most thinking to myself. Even if even if I know this guy and I wanna protect them why I don't think I can protect them under these circumstances because what's gonna happen is I'm gonna -- I'm gonna get in a wicked GM myself. He defy a if if I don't I'll put the cops on this guy and I I know his lawyer. His lawyer refuses to say whether or not this guy was actually a trunk. In apparently he had done -- India where he worked for another published this guy who was arrested him on memorial drive this happened last week by the way that they kept it. Basically covered up for a week. And apparently this guy had a personal problems as previous. Place of employment so how -- held -- -- get hired by the Massachusetts state police but the bigger question is I mean. Issue should I shouldn't shouldn't that admission cops rearrest and this guy I mean come -- This is ridiculous remember the remember it happened enough. I guess was what Seabrook New Hampshire writes he was just Seabrook New Hampshire and the guy was from -- Salisbury beach Massachusetts. And he was driving along and driving -- that he was Salisbury. Caught off duty. And he hit a he had a couple of rebuke drive itself maybe is from Seabrook some but it whatever once he was. He was driving along on the border and hit he hit another car and that was his potential in the cops stopped them. And he kept he kept saying to -- come on give me a break file as you know I mean you know you you know we're gonna. If you don't give me a break will take care you the next time you guys are driving them out like what's up enough or down and whether I was side. Seabrook are -- Salisbury beach I can't remember where -- -- now. But. Again meanwhile want -- The in this case he uses in this case it wasn't I think that busy street but he hit the and in the and then the other part but on memorial drive I mean there's just no question these these crops did did wrong. By not by not immediately arresting and beating him a breathalyzer test either. Can you mentioned that if you would what would happen to you. If you were driving down memorial. In Cambridge there's two of those viewer from Boston there's two walks shall call river roads. This store drivers on the Boston side and or memorial drive -- on the Cambridge side in their in their ball there again like you said they're both very very busy. Busy highways. 18774694322187746943221. What would you do if you were cop in this situation would you what would you give the guy the benefit of the doubt and risk and risk your own career. That's what you're doing your risk and your own. Your own career. 18774694322. And you know the thing is how many times you don't see general you don't hear too much about cops being arrested for drunk driving. And there's there's a reason for the and that's because they I think terrorist you know sort of missed the you know penal code. But you don't get on what should get in a real GM was she really GM. You would you'd you get taken care it's the same thing with this police chief and all -- you know that -- accused of avoid hitting his wife and in in Maynard with the idea counter top and bicycle rack. And you know that the the court officer today as he walks and because the court officers covering him so that so that the TV cameras on good good shot they actually just ran it in slow motion. On one on one of the TV stations and the judge has impounded. The the police report I mean what what's well apparently why I mean if if it where you army the police report wouldn't be impounded what do. Why is why does he get a break. And by the way too. He is he he's he's on leave with -- he's with you with pay. He's accused of hitting his wife and he's in they've they've they've suspended my guess you'd call with. 18774694322187746943221. Let's let's take some calls on this side I know I wanna get into it like any anti cop screech or anything but. There or is it their -- that's different standard for cops obviously and it's just that. They the the state police I've been an. -- -- -- -- -- -- Paul and GM's lately here in Massachusetts with -- with. Various cops getting arrested. Remember during the New Hampshire primary running into one of the guys that was collecting the money. And he was apparently drinking all the time when he was he was being recorded -- by this guy that he was trying to shakedown for more money. We're gonna to a retired -- state -- -- Manchester the hotel where we stand. And he said that how Lisa also battles on the job for twenty years of -- and I almost felt bad that I never got the meeting gangster -- Little that I nor was working with one. Does a guy did -- again expert but of course -- lawyer had the excuse she know what is the you know what the lawyers excuse ones who used. He was drunk that's the excuse. 18774694322. -- via toll free number of how we car show we're talking about this the situation in Cambridge where the where the beat the police the police and even take the brutalized or this side of this -- -- driver in the wrong way now on the outcome down on memorial drive. How we may be she wasn't drunk and just didn't know the area the government may be yeah. Seven they once suspended with pay I could use of vacation two. Let's say. 860 something similar happened in Windsor locks more popular kid. No breath test some of the first responding officers were suspended you can't ask you gotta give up his to give up his home only livelihood to protect you after -- you when you're the one in the problem. Michael you're next with power cargo have Michael. Captain I think those state police in Cambridge acted stupidly. I'm. Hoping to -- a they did accidentally Michael. Very stupidly. They they were just try to protect their -- and really backfired on him big time I'd like to go on -- your wife and say it would happen that TO you know on the you know on the job anymore you -- six years from retirement. Israelis came but you know what people just don't care anymore and they just don't wanna do anything about it that. All watch an American Idol that's ideally. Yeah exactly thanks for the call Michael 1877469432218774694322. 7774. One mates. 617 office circle Puccio well there's a good and they OK that's a good point -- past. Such as cops that get protect that I mean in the city of Cambridge had. They today there was a state senator -- who had a he had a thirst or greater would cast a shadow. Named Anthony Dellucci and they found the one time. Anyways he was outside his bar -- just the you know -- -- saying you know that the drunken lamppost -- holding up each other this this the senator was literally -- on the lamp -- to keep from falling -- So they didn't arrest them or take him in the protect I guess he can't arrest somebody for public drunkenness anymore it's a disease. But you can take -- the PC. But protective custody but what they did Wesley they put him in the back of a car and they -- globe will take you home what's your address. And he was so drunk he forgot. That he had moved so gives them the old address may go to the all the dressed in and they did they realize she's not living there are solely up to find out -- new address is. And they take them home. And of course later on he got another -- it's rear -- at somebody after patriots game and he he left he he he hit a parcel hard at a stop light. That the imprint. Of the news of his license. Was was. Land it on to the back of the car they were little kids in the car. And then he just drove away hit for twelve hours until he came out -- sobered up he finally enough to stretch and the bill or house or correction. But you you know what equally -- he was claim that he -- they got them they would they were taken that they were given abrupt allies -- -- was under house arrest and claimed that. The he was drinking that it was toothpaste. The old -- paste depths. Yes and for three months -- house of correction. 18774694322. Don't forget crash Mercury. Value what I am what I am shocked that you know the entire property in the days if you made that decision take care somebody with what -- -- -- you know obviously we can't be that way but. Why why do you arrest the guy in the uncle always interesting you don't always -- -- a couple of years decisions are still these two sweeping victory of the. -- they arrested him but they didn't give them but they didn't give me the test the breathalyzer test right yeah.
