State Rep Ryan Fattman on amnesty for Illegal Children

President Obama will announce that he's passing an executive order red initiative that gives work permits to younger illegal immigrants who came to the US as children and who have played by the rules ever -- stayed out of trouble on -- school and gotten jobs. Wendy young heads up the group kids in need -- defend these. Her kids again who've come here very young ages -- most cases. In many cases they're not even aware that they lacked immigration status and then if they get older. They hit that ball and realize that their options for the United States are very limited. First of all I take umbrage at the word limited. How are there options limited free everything. Everything for -- in America. I mean yeah how do you possibly know not know the -- legal. But they PO ever be better and -- I'm just looking at a press release I got last night from ice now police did this great job and they arrested these young men. The young -- 25 year old in yellow Gilani Robles in his 21 year old and 22 year old friend. And the police arrested. These young people looking into the country illegally because on November 26 2006. And though most -- area of Guatemala. These three men. Attacked a young woman named Elizabeth Lopez Lopez in -- -- deserted area they held -- by the neck and then they beat raped and strangled her to death. The three individuals have been charged with Guatemalan authorities. That's how the young people managed to find themselves in Lynn Massachusetts. From the tiny killed this young girl in 2006. Until the time you're arrested by -- police. This these are real stories represented would you agree. Absolutely and I think it's just another example of how the president of this policy are frustrating people out of touch. With middle class families you know we are tons of proposals don't get a free pass. For breaking our -- Massachusetts don't want getting tuition breaks like the governor has proposed are illegal immigrants -- average -- are actually tapping into their college savings. To pay for groceries to pay for gas. Even you know took it -- mortgage rate things are really -- up there. We just found out the other paper that herald the data on there's -- 118 million dollars that was spent any year. On illegal immigrants and undocumented people getting free health care. This is too expensive we can't afford it. And you know I think it's gonna play on the national -- pretty reliably. I agree with you you know every single day and I kid you not -- Batman every single day o'clock in the state of Massachusetts. Sends me a photograph. Of an illegal immigrants identification that they hinted to the police when they were pulled offer traffic stop our rested with something. Every single one of them has an EBT card and enact health card. And everything I look at my game. Trying to restrict the use and try to bring integrity back to those systems. -- it really shows you know -- -- there's a level of you know incompetence sometimes in state current. That's kind of filtering -- to the presidency I think right now one I think she's done grappling. A lot of good work that has been on what's secure communities and -- not your opening endorsed box. Now I think UN I can both be sympathetic. To be at the -- kid there was brought over the border by his parents from whatever country and went for the American school system and and then. You know -- decided that they wanted to stay and become a proud American there are already paths to citizenship. That are available to those young people and so -- trying to say all okay they can -- kid that was you know drag -- -- when he was two years old to be booted right out of the country. Was saying they use the proper legal channels in order to stay. Exactly you know America's great country. We have freedom and ability to think act and do is we want and that's what people want to come here they wanna escape a workshop flight somewhere else. And -- encouraged that but we want them to do it legally and there's no question you know congress needs to get its act together. Need to make this process a little bit more simpler so that people can come here get -- of the quota system that we have which is not much. But just providing blanket amnesty providing people with benefits. -- for providing tuition breaks providing free health care. To people who break our laws and don't all of -- coming into Iran -- that's not Eric not right and that's why. Middle class we talked and you are very frustrated with their government. Now what are your former colleagues Jeff -- a few years ago. Wrote legislation and -- in it was backed up in the senate every two to say was running for congress. And this plus simply stated that before you get on the freebies system before you get a section eight apartment in new ABT -- -- out. Whenever any fingerprints to make -- not wanted. Like these three guys I just described who have found inland. Six years after they killed at this -- young woman and Guatemala. So both those guys get on the system and if I took a wild guess -- that I guess I am on. -- certain that they work but put these guys in the system. They'd have their fingerprints checked -- then instead of having these guys live among us in win. Whatever opposing would have a danger they did to that community since 2006. Then we bounce the right away and they don't get the freebies yet but. Tell us what happened in the house without legislation tell us what happened in the senate without legislation. What you're you know like they do all it should play teams and now -- sending the studies. And return return to bring one of these legitimate -- sport where we want people use and I'd be obtained a benefit on the public's time. Simple just provide your edification. -- we have to study that issue I year and year out.
