As the Harvard Class of 1962 prepared to gather this week, many alumni updated their profiles including Ted Kaczynski. They say the man dubbed the Unabomber was mocking his fellow Harvard Class of 1962 classmates, as well as those he injured or killed and their survivors. A Crimson-faced Harvard Alumni Assn. says it regrets allowing Kaczynski to use its so-called Red Book to update his profile. Guest host Avi Nelson asked was it a mistake.

We are being enslaved by technology and you want to write about -- and for all I know there were other submissions to that book. He is all the talk and discussion about this animal just reopens wounds for the family members he maimed and killed. Just pretend that he doesn't exist I said. Well anyway and by the way you destroyers the life sentences. Come in mud -- he would have an excuse. And I don't think he deserves to live and and whatever kind of -- hasn't it even be sending things into his fiftieth reunion book. Renee would -- now this discussion if they were capital punishment right. It's 774694322. Jeff you're next on the program good afternoon. Every -- and happy first of all you always. Raised the level. Well intellectual congress action on the show and I'm cool. Here you are your thoughts on the first one at a higher level perhaps and that is designed to be in that -- -- -- That decided to put this in. Took arrest it was a private publication. And choose and they were reminding their fellow Harvard graduate. -- degree for that esteemed institution. Does not mean. That you are off and whether people law for the possibility of mental -- -- creating -- court or -- urchins and or the and I think you took a certain amount. Courage someone else might actually stupidity. Property who couldn't get much much that there are there are not all that action. Well it changed and take on that Jeff I don't know that -- -- -- I have is an article to go on a wasn't at the reunion haven't talked to the people some of the people were quoted in the in the article seemed to treat it almost his ship was humors. And then talk about his sense of humor. I don't know how much of a lesson is that you talk about people who are out. Fifty years -- fiftieth reunion they got to be like 72 years old 7273. Years old. On too many life lessons that you have to learn. At that point -- -- how much of this -- communicated to the undergraduates except for the fact that's become somewhat of a story. The you know that you -- talk about it -- there was in The Herald in an all the people picked up on it. Shall may be there are but I I wonder I think the lesson. Well I think that would have been another lesson if they had been excluded from the book and if somebody that Chevron got to put this in when likening him. They the platform. I don't I'm going at certain points and and quite frankly are aren't buying. I disagree. Are people who threw a wrench things often do for Accenture. And that's getting sure. We're not are talking about this on the phone and that's where are being. The worst thing from this private publication. -- -- four that this was what it means that it is meant to be not talked about public. Are your industry -- -- which we want from Falun going. Is doing is actually. What it can keep Hubble orbit and that was another. Projection to me. And the approached getting it -- I went to our place. Are not at all you like to know him from an article I'm almost double. It and Q okay Q. And the point's we'll taken in a much that I -- think about these things would do -- their. There shouldn't be bullied don't put on the year for precisely that reason. And would I have been the first one to do it I would've fought long and hard the reason why I did this topic and always because. You know whether I talk about or not it's out there. I've heard it talked about by others there was an article in The Herald that I was working off -- shall. You know it's not like your -- didn't mention it would go on mentioned. But he has a point. Knowing -- -- this year with others will look at that the new black Panthers who were now being interviewed in various places. -- -- have moronic vicious vulgar hateful things. There you know violent racists. And they get attention because report on the air. And and people. You know have a discussion then they get more. They get more attention that way we're -- years ago. Was that there was one group on drawing a blank on on the name of the group. But as somebody once describe. Accurately. There was some black radical group and said that. He has a following. For black people and 400 white reporters. It and actually captures the essence of 8774694322. Is the phone number. Craig you know actually the program good afternoon. I -- idea so. I have to wonder how much of this really has to do with Ted kaczynski's. Unabomber. His manifesto. And did -- liberally I wouldn't say it's too liberal but he was anti technology. He doesn't didn't like the United States things like wonder how much of that. Has to do with sympathetic. You that he gets sympathetic hearing when he was cut. When he published his manifesto. Interesting you mean if this if this manifesto had been as much from the right as. Or from the left I mean instead of from the right. That it would have been there would have been a different take on it. Well I'm saying he was he was sympathetic to left wing causes yeah and I think if he had been a right -- he might not have been invited to the to be a part of the reunion. -- may be right it's an interesting Humana ideological perspective I will say this style. That I thought it was counter balanced by the fact that he was attacking people like -- young physically attacking. Those people who he was saying the bombs to. Cilic in a way transcended ideology that your point is an interest in line and knowledge maybe. There was an article -- someone wrote and it almost looked at him as if he was some kind of -- wise -- of some type. Yeah and I I found that interesting. There was also. It this reminds me of it and it US Sunday and -- -- with Charles Manson. And it. He was doing it obviously for the attention in fact I think he would've killed all those people just to get on TV would Diane Sawyer. And if I think if I with a warden of that prison he would not have been granting any interviews and anybody. So bottom line Craig would you have allotted to -- -- -- -- Okay thanks for calling. 8774694322. Was a phone number I'm Bob Nelson this is that -- our program.
