And it's been a very nice week to be a Republican has -- not right. It's been a good -- is through them and I feel really good about the about the RNC and and governor Romney coming together really removes. Oh wait a -- you're not telling us the key thing is how do you get all these Democrats on the payroll. Now it does -- This puts you at a historic position I think it as a chairman of the Republican National Committee nobody's ever pulled off Disco. Corey baker of all I Cory Booker of all we -- to get him on your side. Well you know listen when when when I'll I learned a long time ago in law school that won the other side is making here argument for yes. You just sit back on at the -- that right out gotten let him go out so that -- -- -- but -- we've got. We've just got to have would -- if you look back a year and a half ago at the time and -- that got about that but. If you -- to say a year and a half later. We have more cash in the bank in the Democratic National Committee we have a presumptive nominee. In the margin -- had I would say most for publicly you know I don't take that and that's where we're at. And that's the key question I mean we have to win every day. And take every dead it's time and and all the way to November and an outside and and I've said this before but I promise you this has nothing to do. But the future of the Republican Party this is all about future American now. And I think most people agree that this. Particular race for president it's something that. No matter whether your you know -- -- mediate. It's the most important election your life. Now I have this feeling that there were added that the the White House and the president are in some sort of fear level high anxiety level over the selection because there they're taking an approach that is so. Harsh. And and that's why you're seeing this little backlash against the Bain Capital -- there was something very powerful I thought that happened yesterday. And that was Mitt Romney doing the interview with Mark Halperin for time magazine. That showed him talking in very soft tones just about. How this president isn't up to the job on the on the kind of nice guy he can't do the job and it resonates rights. The -- you know I think because I think everybody understands when we hear those words that that's what's going on here. Well. And and it and it and it's the song that is here. Travelling throughout the country in your drive went through Iowa and -- meaning people. And in Wisconsin or in Ohio. That people are. They're not. So much angry as they are -- orderly disappointment with -- -- I think that disappointment. That many people. In fact that they supported this president. But he didn't follow through on promises in the -- off. And you know you eat you followed in and you believe that a guy who basically cities in the carpet the world. And it didn't even attempt. You know to do after that things that he promised to do. And four or this president do try to vilify. Mitt Romney's. Business record when this president hasn't -- the inside of the lemonade stand. When it comes to business in the country I just think it's the number one at the laughable but it's also pretty bad because I think. See your point. This president has become the most negative. Nasty. Dirty politician. In American history. And I think Americans there is so sick and tired of it. And that's why I think -- the end of the day for all those things that are are going wrong with this president in the economy and jobs the most important. I play I think one of his biggest vulnerability is is that he's not real anymore. We've had a sense that. Well I I think that's. Yeah I think that's a big part of it you know the hope and change you know what's we say here all the time was conceptual. There's nothing it's very specific about -- all and was designed to avoid specifics and I got. Four years of specifics gonna ask a question rants about this Ed Klein's book is coming out it's the image shot. Doesn't look like it's going to be particularly favorable to the president. So that's item number one kind of analyze that the emergence of that book and with told -- a New York Times best seller number one on the list. And then help us to understand. What it is that causes you anxiety at night you know so the Obama campaign does appear to be a little on the little stress and pressure. But campaigns of stress filled events for both sides what are you toss an intern and about. Well I'm an -- they haven't read the book but certainly the -- This president. Somebody's that we have. Purposely line. Into the White House that has had very very little life experience. Mean Wetherbee. You know and ointment. Whether the an understanding. Of what it takes to run a small business whether these foreign policy you'll whatever the case may be -- We have sort of audience of this American Idol. Contest for president with Barack Obama and it -- has worked out and I think that it the end of the day with people literally. Looking diving boards of personally Mitt Romney who Alitalia. And whether it be Romney or guy like Scott Walker Paul Ryan I mean these guys that have launched. Into our political world are people who have done something pretty special policy and it's pretty simple and that. Via -- pertinent here or follow on your promises and government to campaign and I think the problem -- with this president. Is that ultimately. He's somebody who -- -- with the of his own boys can't from though. Bet that's I -- I think is ultimately. What will on do this president but. And the second quarter. -- got -- what are what are you losing sleep about it and I what are -- Austin and Jenna about. Well I mean you know I think that this president does do one thing pretty well on that you -- he raises the bottom line. I mean he -- you know he's able to continue this charade. I mean it's if you -- 900 or built the 900 million dollars or billions and see maybe. Two. You know that's a lot of money in 32 ads that in spite of where the -- -- -- that you can put enough of those 32 ads on TV. You can make people believe that it's everyone else's fault except your -- I mean it's amazing that it's it's the you know. This -- the height and blame president he was the hope and change candidate. Now is the height and blame president every once the blame even the nominees earthquake here. Minutes everyone that the Republicans of course grow at number one on the list. Are you arguing for a ban on TV advertising presidential politics well I don't. I thought no I'm not but I guarantee you'll go down as we that the shooter but. I would just say that. This president had as much whining complaining is the is done. He had Nancy hello in the super majority in congress you know two years. This area read it in sixty votes for one year and here -- 59 votes for another year. His knowing the blame you. He had to close I had it has the hose on a chorus in the press to venture out on line for Wright's previous head of the Republican National Committee drive go ahead. What Obama did well what the ball patch figured in the last election bid to include a part of something great fit into an -- and we don't do a great job that. Well. I don't I don't disagree with that and and and that's why I think we opened up the average station -- something that is very true which is. This is not about the future of the Republican Party about the future of America and I believe ultimately if we're doing our job well which it the year point. We have to make this race. About the idea in the question that I think most Americans are thinking about right now with. In this country if I work hard and I played by the rules. And I live the American dream if I work hard and play by the rules. Can we live the American dream and under this president made it much work so I think ultimately when we did in November. This is going to be an election. That will give people the choice between Barack Obama. And the American history. And that's something that all American. And can rally behind liberty. Read them the bill of rights the constitution. This is really what that they in this election it's not over dramatic people forget even a mammoth political junkies we can all sometimes forget. But we have to remember what this country's all about and and outside of the American dream. Is in peril and this president has made our acceleration -- that. Look what walker then you use but he's turned things around the positive job creation lower unemployment. Pro growth policies. And those those things that this is a -- Things that Mitt Romney did. He had a great he had a great speaker of the house for the -- to be as I think I can vouch for the hot I think I can vouch for that that -- instead out. Our Rick Perry and -- Newt Gingrich jumped up and down all -- in the primaries and said c'mon admit -- Massachusetts was 47 the job creation. Isn't that kind of predictable that it's gonna come back and be used by Obama and company. But predictable but here's the problem that Obama -- ultimately. People aren't going Mitt Romney's. Four years when he was governor for the fact they haven't had its job. And a year and a half an Iowa Wisconsin and Ohio the fact is that this throughout that it had affected used. So you know you can you can play these games and you can try to poke holes and be nasty and negative but effective. If you want a better future. It's not going to be another four years of the misery we've just sells itself.
