But I mean I think the president being with such humility and that's great that's cloud. I'm giving credit to everybody but himself. I'm just so proud of him right now yeah -- -- well I am of them right. -- this group veterans for strong America made a web bad and attacking the president for. Beating using the word Mimi RI I all the time with talking about the war. And the wars and getting bin Laden and did they contrast. The the ethos of a military guys that heroes don't brag heroes don't same me. Heroes don't talk about what they accomplished and then they show clips of the president brag about going -- -- in -- it's really a pretty stark. Presentation. Guys that have to tell -- Democrats privately are telling me that they think this may blow up in the president's face I think he's making a tragic mistake. Let me be very clear clearly he deserves some credit there's no question about it he gave the order of Osama bin Laden killed. And I remember that day over a year ago -- days in my life. I was at a ballpark. People were bringing people were dancing. People pouring into the bar afterward. It was almost like the day you can see your sense of unity that just took over the entire country and for him out to be politicizing -- Trying to claim almost full credit. I think it shameful. I think it's the meaning I think it's opening and worse than that. The more we are now beginning to find out about what actually happened without operation. Frankly the worse Obama looks. I would which ultimately mean where I can tell all of you this militant an absolute certainty. What I've now been told is as follows. When they found out exactly where Obama Osama bin Laden was in a -- about they have without beyond a doubt. The man that oversaw the operation with admiral William Buckley the -- demand if implemented it that oversaw at the basically executed it. Panetta goes in 200 Obama's into the Oval Office and help the president. We have Osama bin Laden we know exactly where we it's beyond a doubt he's about location. We have eighteen ready to go in factor about to cross Pakistani airspace. We can kill him within 45 minutes. And Biden tells them not to do it. Many of his senior advisors tell them not to do it the president begins to lose his mirror. And he helped and that I have to sleep on. And so he goes to bed Panetta -- shocked. And now the fear is starting to grip Panetta -- raven and the navy field. That bin Laden is gonna get away but somebody's gonna pick them off. We're gonna tell the pakistanis something is gonna whip up and now Panetta is literally going -- -- behind this thing. He's been put in -- Obama the next day. And he says Mr. President. We have a -- There -- ready to go we believe beyond a shadow of the doubt it is Osama bin lot. Mr. President you have to make a decision now he basically twist obamas are used twisting your arm. And finally over Obama says yes but here's the catch. When he signed in order to kill Osama bin lock key influence on our responsibility. As deep wallets. And in that clause that's inserted in the order. He says sure the operation failed. -- -- the -- members be killed or bin Laden get away. The person who is the Blaine is not him the commander in chief is admiral William nick raven. So here you have the president of the United States. Doing victory lap after victory. Not just spiking the ball he's dancing in the end zone he's ramming it down our -- He's gloating he's talking Mitt Romney he's running around saying Mitt Romney would have made a tough decision I did now that's -- notified that speculation. We don't know what Romney would of the -- probably would about it. Think the bigger question is this the president is trying to claimed credit for the heroic actions of others. It when you guys aren't aren't when he wasn't willing to sic responsibility for the decision. Exactly the -- Bethany what is most of precedent here and more than. You don't -- Obama is talking and the way the liberal media is hyping up this supported decision. Are you would think disguise -- Rambo. So why are we doing this is why do you think it's gonna work against -- then if there were I think pretty good machine all his employees to deceive everybody. What I think first of -- most Americans instinctively know that he'd been risked his life. He wasn't there with the bullets one by its. He's not the one who descended upon the compound these lot of -- he wasn't there with a machine guns and and and personally killing Osama -- lot. But the fact of the matter is most of the credit deserves. Should go and who deserves it are the -- feel -- Ethiopian six. Admiral William craven and yes to some degree George W. Bush because he put in place. The surveillance apparatus. The enhanced interrogation techniques. That led all the way to a bottom bothered to the capture and killing of Osama bin Laden. Jeff you know I agree with you about the unseemly -- of any president -- -- victory dances and I think it's absolutely ridiculous for him to have. Hypothesize about what Romney would would not have done. But during the during the week I think two things have happened are struck me one of them is on this. Responsibility escape clause that you described. I I heard it described by somebody else wrote a book on this that this is say this was clearly a special ops. -- you know the procedure or operate mission a special ops mission. And that all presidents such as this one. Have to have some plausible deny ability where somebody walks the plank -- could say oh that's not part of our policy we would never condone that. And so they make of a general somebody sound like a renegade a row. Second late. I just seems to me that when he says this in this case Obama specifically says I wanna sleep on. Given that we succeeded. Doesn't that make them look as if he is. More thoughtful than rash more. More. Well I guess I'll stay -- more thoughtful the -- we know what happens when people make rash decisions that commit our military guy and winnable situations. Well what we're finding out -- for about 45 month they have the compound under surveillance. The only question what that 100% sure that was Osama bin Laden. By the time they make the decision to move. Make ravens. Much of the national security taking the net that was then CIA director. As Panetta says it's a slam dunk the medical market as we know with him. And so what I find Schilling is. I would just -- I have to everybody out there if you're sitting behind the Oval Office. And York cops security people and your pop intelligent people walk up to you would say. We have the mastermind of 9/11 the man with the -- of 3000 Americans on -- That's him we have satellite images we have satellite photos we have a Professional League team the best of the best. They're 45 minutes away -- -- all they need from you would the Green light. Now are you gonna let you know. Are you that if they don't know from our lives are literally. But the reality is if you're around a table with the military guys UA all the factors in news decide it's worth -- it's not worth it. In my assessment is that I think he lost his nerve. I think the real hero here is Leon Panetta. I know Panetta was I mean just literally apoplectic behind the scenes. And -- telling everybody what's he waiting for and so finally Panetta is the one that forces his hands. Well how we know those kinds of inside stories are always hear these things. Are coming off the record of that because we're here but memos have been leak there have been certain memorandum and I've had several people confirm this to me behind the scenes. So what what you're gonna see in the coming years the truth of this operation is going to go out and Obama is not going to look good. But more than that that this is all you know that call for the historians in the future. When Dwight Eisenhower. Ordered the invasion of Normandy. He wrote a letter. In which he took full responsibility should the operation. Fail instead when Normandy succeeded not talking about killing one man. I'm talking about the invasion that changed the history of the war and the history of the world. -- will act as I'd never took credit for it he gave credit where credit was due primarily to troops who fought and died on that day. And that Lincoln was the same Washington was the same. Commanders in chief. Do not take credit for the heroic actions of others and I think the more he uses it. The more he exploits this for crass partisan political game I think the American people are gonna find it unseemly. They're gonna find it shameless. And they're gonna turn on Obama. What should have been a crowning achievement for him by high water mark of -- presidency.
