This news comes immediately after it was announced that a new plan to increase personal income taxes by 67 percent will be signed by Quinn and be taken into effect immediately. The corporate income tax rate will also be raised from 4.8 percent to 7 percent marking a 46 percent increase overall. Barbara Anderson from Citizens for Limited Taxation joins us to talk about this and Massachusetts taxes. Thu, 13 Jan 2011

When President Obama took the podium at Wednesday night's memorial service in Tucson, Ariz., he was greeted with the unbridled excitement of a college campus embracing their commander in chief. Cheers and screams and hoots continued even after he asked for people to sit down. As he started his eulogy, with the somber words, "To the families of those we've lost," voices still cheered and at least three people shouted out, "We love you!" It was not the way most memorial services usually kick off. What did you think of the audience reaction to Obama's speech last night?

  4. Who should be responsible for Clearing Snow from Sidewalks?

    Audio

    Wed, 12 Jan 2011

A recent ruling by the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court makes it easier for people injured on snow covered walkways to successfully sue those property owners who don’t clear snow from walking surfaces. Winter is here and so are slippery sidewalks, parking lots and walkways. Previously, Massachusetts courts have ruled that a property owner cannot be held liable if someone is injured walking on new or what courts have called “natural” snow. Instead, owners can be held liable if someone walks over the natural snow and then another person falls down while walking on the same area of snow, called “unnatural” snow by the courts.

Shenanigans. Going on possibly at the Statehouse. And I got home last laugh -- on line and their rights are CLT action alert. That meant that the best Beacon Hill watch dog I know Barbara Anderson was keeping an eye on things up -- forest. And it looks like they're going to try to pull a fast one -- they could during today's constitutional. Convention and and so we asked Barbara to come on to fill solid on what's going on -- what the latest update is on all this welcome to the Charlie Manning show Barbara Anderson how you do today.

I'm doing fine but they almost got this past this particular watch started. Thank heavens for that could temporarily of the party and the coalition the family and and sound very good family. That they Condit we watch the election law committee looking for any attack on latest petition process as do other groups on the left to the right who used the process. Never occurred to us that they were pretty and the Judiciary Committee and try to get have to. But since other coalition for marriage and family keeps an eye on the Judiciary Committee. And -- was looking at the the con con agenda. That's -- that they what I found out that judiciary had reported this now without favorable report which meant those legislature was going to take it seriously. So we immediately alert everybody we -- and get this released and then contacted view. And and sure enough we found out that they were planning to make clear out. During this particular week that I -- wasn't going to be a constitutional convention because they're busy with other things they you'd be just come in and go right back out again and don't bother with them. This kind of at a -- and -- pick -- that particular amendment to basically destroy the -- to petition process for all of us. And and so and I don't think even a lot of the members you know this is going on there have been a try to -- have to. The the supported that we affidavit to petition process on the hill to. So this could with a radical plan except that it that constitutional amendment would have eventually have to end up on the ballot that we could possibly tell it. -- with the voters. But nevertheless I think it's important that everybody knows just how they think cup yet the way they played the game to try to make things still. In the big deal last week of the session using -- committee to file their bills and kinda get it -- not only. Political activists like duck and the media -- get a pass some of their own members. That's what we'll look at that and that's where we have to telephone of these people out in November.

So the initiative petition process for folks that may be muted this are just tuning in today. It gives the voters of Massachusetts a voice. Groups like barber is not see LT -- collect signatures and get a question on the ballot for instance proposition two and a half was an initiative petition. And then it's left up to the voters to decide and the legislature. Heats that. They wanna decide everything at the Statehouse in their back rooms. It was funny we were talking to different members of the way to sleep Trieste in fact I ran into a democratic state senator last night. And I said what's going on any said we don't know this is all decided in the back rooms by few powerful people. And then it's trotted out we vote up or down that's the way it goes up here. And that's why they hate initiative petitions in the fact that they would try to watered down. That. -- the initiative petition process. In take that voice away from the voters. Is just amazing Barbara and I you know it's it's guy I couldn't believe that they would try to do it when I saw your you're action alert last night.

Well we did take -- try to do it either you know adamant that the anyhow it a lot of them are looking at opponent. And I don't think they would try to do that they didn't think -- make it true what divided states he accused the major point I'm making here look how these people try to operate. Not really shone the spotlight on another there where we get people calling them. On embarrassing them because a lot of the people who signed on to this spelled denied that they -- side door that they knew what it was about which is typical. So -- like congress you know. What they'll also do retest right. Yes so now that we -- Spotlight are I think at 1 o'clock today they will just go into the -- come right back we of course called our ally from the hill immediately bit stiff status that it says that a minority leader and bad John that the house. To make sure they were alerted the best because they're busy with a million -- initiatives and -- this particularly when they're prepared to fight. If it does come up and that will of course bring it all -- spotlight and then they'll drag on forever as they battled it know what has time for this well I think we killed it. But I thought they shouldn't just it shouldn't just just do it without everybody knowing what they try to do.

Barbara explain to the folks what they were gonna try to do to the initiative petition process and folks. This was gonna be a constitutional. Amendments. Not a law that could be to get this would go right into the constitution. Of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. So explain to everyone what they were gonna try to -- here.

Yes and it looked perfectly innocuous if you don't know what to look for that there are certain things which are not a lot already you're not allowed to diminished petition dot. You can't get finished petition to appropriate money you can't affect judges pay. And you're not allowed to -- the bill of rights with that are based petition all of which are fine they're called. -- They're gonna add one more thing to all of this and that's just a simple that they were going to say that the rights to freedom and equality. The right of each individual to be protected by society at the enjoyment of life -- they can -- property. Will not be subject to be next to petition. Well that's just about everything that certainly includes getting an attempt to cap or limit taxation.

That's a shore or to do something about illegal immigration.

Well I can't think -- that at first -- they would just typical left store -- need that gay marriage issue but it is still annoyed about that. But spend about issues debts fell. Then one of our members of looking at different taken off that kept making sure that we can never do it next to petition -- illegal immigration has certainly that would prevent that because every individual not every citizen. Every individual has detected by society enjoyment of life. And certainly if you don't let them come to -- live and get benefit that's going to affect your enjoyment of life that that would -- any chance they would ever have. A -- this to petition process as other states have to address illegal immigration.

They may now a win you file initiative petition my understanding is you send the language to the attorney general. In the attorney general first decides if that language falls under all of the different conditions and every bank.

That's right you can't general's office has a division that handles all finished petitions they look to make sure you they don't check to see if it's constitutional in the big picture they only look fifty. Did you violate any part of the part of the constitutional that you do an -- to petition that you have violated both parts you don't need to get to go to the streets. You could argue right now if you want to say on gay marriage that at bat was. Some kind of violation of the bill of rights case you have a right to marry just something bootleg weaken their already protecting. A genuine write that the founding father inside the right. But this would add language to be absolutely sure that you didn't miss anything when you went to court reached a point out that look this taxcut. This this twit it would it would violate the right of individual to be protected by society the enjoyment of life by getting more welfare benefits. And that would be a very risky thing when you never know what our Supreme Court is going to do.

Four and a liberal attorney general could take this language -- it's it's so. V apparatus and say the rights to freedom and equality the right of each individual to be protected. By society the what society by society in the you wonder where they even got this language. By society in the enjoyment of life liberty and property according to standing laws so if you had a liberal attorney general. They could use that to shoot down. Any initiative petition right from the beginning.

That's right before we even got started and it's definitely liberal language is the way to liberals talk so you're looking at the sponsor which is the -- don't crane. And you look at apartment with Kellyanne. And mark to Waltz that the key -- and it sparked his uncle what -- did not mention them instead of all the edited they have opposition this year. And -- and they have some of the opponents already debate setting up press releases to let people know that these people really really hate your right. Too -- make your own laws to repeal laws. If you don't like with the legislature is doing.

Boy those three that's they. It's quite a group in the you're right they are all from the four -- from the left wing of the left wing of the left wing of the Democratic Party all three of them.

all set to get to mention -- Jalen who has the opponent -- the kind of out the good to baggage in again Beverly county and give Bryant sank against terror and bad mark to -- get mighty wolf yes. They thought he got opponents and down that people should be aware that. Whittier liberal conservative animal rights activist and environmentalist if you wanna use -- petition process these people are trying to stop view. And having the ability to do it.

They'll feel like to talk to Barbara Anderson give us the call 6172666860. -- are number 617666860. Barbara caught them again. Remember back in I think it was April. They were going to try to sneak through changes to proposition two and a half and barber was all over Britney and ended up being dropped and it worked out great for the property tax -- the Massachusetts. And now here they are trying to pull a fast one again at the Statehouse that's just absolutely amazing its its like they. They never learn you know that is that once someone like barber is gonna shine the light of day on the nailed it bill. They'll drop that but as long as they can sneak it through. They'll go for it in any time.

they are gonna pass mayfield thanks against the pistons Barley and the coalition to American family protection network. Once we thought we knew what to do. And they will not learning you know why they -- when they won't happen because they do this stuff -- still get reelected this since he HR that I hope that will be different that in November. The voters believe member all the things they've been doing wrong this year and that it'll be one of the things they'll remember when they've both for the opponent.

It it just didn't just when you think of how much Steve restart taxes in the cost of government. In the broken promises that remember four years ago were promised that if we elected a certain guy is governor. Keep -- our property taxes now people like you and I said. There's no way he can cut our property taxes come on you know he isn't a looked a local official -- he put in massive local laid. Instead they're hiding local aid and our property taxes are going up. And people are being numb people are being laid off -- the community level it's amazing Barbara.

It is that I think so people are starting to catch on and -- make a promise like that again without somebody asking him. How how exactly. Candidate for governor do you plan to cut property taxes but that's. What's the strategy here what's the technique you've -- ideas I can get most immediate even asked the question about that could everywhere with silent all. To develop haptic but now everyone's. Prepared I think to question everybody is running and make sure that. That's what they say it makes them kind of sent.

That's a short 6172666860. It is always the lines are blue light it up here to talk to Barbara Anderson let's start today with. Warren in Brockton -- in Brockton your first today with Barbara Anderson on the Charlie Manning show.

That you cherry. What what purpose that is reform is still and it even botnet. How can they find out which.

Barbara gave us the list of the sponsors what did you do that again Barbara that the UVs up people who were. -- the sponsors and in this is believe it or not warrant this is just a bill. This is not constitutional. Amendments. A constitutional. -- who are they again Barbara.

Both of -- responses this Saturday cream. And.

Seale and Newton and Brookline. At. -- on -- from Newton.

Robin the Taliban have been North Andover -- group are Melia. Was merely out and body Lofton and often the go to the fight that response his over in the house there -- twenty more responses. So what you have to do is good at -- dollars and our -- dot com. And is simply look the bill. Senate bill pretty well noted that a -- played it because of this is the Hartford Connecticut the that number yet. 3537. You know the past that it I think he's seven on mascot dot com. Automatic dot -- I did I just sit out of that -- think about it you can go to legislature. Arms to the web site and look at it now look at the -- numbers and how steady I think that it has all the responses -- response to -- and Byron rushing. But then there are twenty others who com. And I I can tell you if you have you know you're state -- they just gave up on this list of the -- go to find out it.

Yes. Kicking camp and correct yet yes she signed on to the -- why. You know what I don't do that before 1 o'clock. Buried under valued at no -- under this bill what bill. Is about what they're saying there are members for calling.

Isn't that great Dick -- love to do that Obama. Know why you're mistaken I never would have supported that we have people calling us all the time when they see their reps or senators -- some. Some of that -- sake. You know why did you oppose the Jeff Perry amendment oh no no no we got something through that's even better than the Perry amendment -- up up up up blood that's what they're getting out different these reps and senators it's like they've all been coached. Two -- try to pull fast one on the voters.

That's typing here you if you look at the bill this holistic care tides lift this is down don't summed up from the legislative. Web site joint everyone who signed on to the demo they can tell you did know what they reciting that always looks good. On the part of a state -- I didn't know I was signing I just finding the body to look about them or they have to explain to them to you why they wanted to destroy it just petition process.

That's great all right let's go to a Mike in new Immunex -- robbery Anderson hey Mike how -- you today.

Great -- great show. Well Earl Clark got the Moreira and I respect you work from the F -- experience thank you. I would like -- just say this -- they give me today that you could just just like Marshall that would will give us the border and homosexual marriage in our state. I think at the end of that they were fastest these so called. Social justice issues. The marshals of the world in the people who are pushing movies. Abomination to trust established. The force so all the facts straight is it just sit in -- they'd better do what they want. We're trying to -- the so called social justice issue. We look good said Barbara.

Only opponent did -- do it my argument Marvin Marshall is leaving and the commitment. I have -- terrible -- against terror because of what you get to the Gerald -- multifamily. Tolerable and so now I'm glad to see her golf. And though the F debt debt have the right governor who's going to appoint people who respect the constitution and it's genuine real intent that you have to do this that the federal level to a we'd better do it pretty soon.

Bank but we're very large. Good technically we're expecting --

Thanks so call Michael Ian dreams get your necks -- Charlie Manning and Barbara Anderson hey Andrea.

Good afternoon I'm ups like the -- everybody who is listing and calling today bidding members. GOP it would have already known about that -- made the call and I've already done. I called my state senator is. Yeah. Brad Bryant enjoyed in my state rep is that William Galvin and you're opposite thought you know anything about any back.

That's the MO when you call up there they'll well we don't we haven't heard we don't know wont no we don't know know the yacht. The rep for the senator hasn't talked to a spot that no we don't okay will write it down thank you it's what's. Except of course the John carry office this week in some people were calling his office to tell on the pay the tax. In the Kerry aides were hanging up on the call.

they are there well no. Being among the -- people and I terribly respect regarding this state -- against. Everybody needs to call it that they're represented an eye on it or not. You don't know how your state rep the senator's going to vote. Into point oh -- you so you need to get an appointment tell people I got a kid who that they that it bought more mileage I. -- twenty -- on the auto worker trying to explain a lot of things that are. About acting that blt has done it and other things because we -- educate young people but everybody -- company they have. 177222000. Keep it handy and that up and.

Very good thank you injury he Barbara can you stay on another segment. Sure -- great we're gonna take quick break -- for news at the bottom of the -- here we got a bunch of calls here folks wanna talk about this. If we're lucky to have Barbara Anderson with us today so going up to 1 o'clock when the constitutional convention goes in and we hopefully reached -- office and bread jones' office will keep this up to date on everything that's going on up there. But we'll keep robbery Anderson on will take your calls when we come back on the Charlie Manning show on WRK. And in tickets pretty cool he Barbara somebody was asking what's that bill number again.

I'm glad because I I garbled that I wouldn't coming out ask about it that the neat toy to play with if you don't already know it. You Google -- dot dark mass start to get out and then. That you get to the state web -- is quote -- elected legislature he opened it up. And have all these categories one of them is current legislation. They knew that it extent Vanderbilt detective how spells this credibility when he teed hostility at least five to -- that it.

3537. How it -- I.

Elwood is very short and then this long list of -- citizen who was signed onto that but I wanna think something else to which -- just because religious -- sign onto it. That they are there are so bad that a lot of legislators have no idea what's going on. And in the past when that happens when our state representatives were treated like mushrooms -- leadership they would have a revolt. They'd be embarrassed by people like today calling up asking about a bill they know nothing about the leadership forcing still trying to get past even down. And they'd be embarrassed by this -- they -- revolt may elect himself -- new leadership so although those mushrooms have been stepping up -- for the last several years. Knowing nothing. Setting their leadership leader of the leaders don't even know where Italy that's why weren't running around in a circle up there this week. -- the -- they put up with that they're responsible for it to. Be public and do the the Democrats can choose and so -- they should've -- a long time ago.

Yeah you know the used to be some independent Democrats I always think of Jack flood for instance. Who you know word team you know if they vote the way he thought was best for our stayed in for his district. Rather than what the party bosses told him to do. And it just doesn't seem to be anyone like that on the democratic side anymore. They just you know they they hang around the called down for a vote. The speaker comes out he gives them the thumbs up or down and they vote may leave and that's -- that's that's the way this up there now.

We have we just to turn it -- Democrats on tactician who would give up to the Republicans. And we could to put a good tax battle -- Or for that matter the liberal Democrat to independent who would keep up with the Republicans on good government staff rules reform and that. There's none of that anymore because -- paychecks get they're pretty and whether or not in session. And you know you're not put their pensions and that the leadership pushed them around and embarrassed them the way they were embarrassed today the way they were compared to April. When they were about to kill prop two and a half and didn't even know it. So it's all the responsibility and it's time to throw up says the mushrooms and elect ourselves the real representation in November.

I know everybody always says. Well I know the legislature isn't good but I'd like my wrapped you know -- eighteen to the high school graduation. And he's such a nice guy or she's so nice. And couple -- if you keep sending the same people back it's not gonna get any better. That's what you have to think of this time around that's what you have to decide. Did -- if you're happy if you think -- everything's going swimmingly send the same people back but if you really think we got ahead in the new direction and you can't vote for the same people over and over and over again. That's a sure all right let's go back to the calls Mike's still Bob Mike's still is on the line for Barbary in this and how are you might.

Charlie I don't I -- I'd like -- programme are you doing. I am fine thank you pay compact I read this sentence from the Senate bill again for everybody. Jeff it's mr. right just spoke to freedom and equality the right if each individual to be protected by society and the enjoyment of life liberty. And property according to standing -- And and you said Barbara something like this is the way -- liberals talk and I laughed out loud you're sitting listening to put it it really is I think you know. You if you have a right it's something that's granted by the state to a citizen. And it's something that's encoded in large but do you know when liberals talk about rights it's it's like this should just. They need idea of fairness there. And dark and and at this that I can -- turnaround in the -- But also --

Oh come on Mike how he knew yet again critical right to free them many equality.

I don't want anybody to have fairness is fairness and I. -- I say. Let's. Let's let's just dictate but one thing did you notice just the right but each individual not the right of each citizen. Right protected by society not protected by the state. So so I think did you know the people who wrote this spot what they were writing. And in particular they wanna get around the idea that we're protecting the citizens of the state of Massachusetts -- the citizens of America. They want to -- this is just speaking to the point that this doesn't have. Laws and our initiatives. Against illegal immigration in mind I think this is. This this is kind of a submarine to make sure that -- that we we include people who are not necessarily Massachusetts citizens. --

Slugged him no choice that Mike is they what are the people that's going to help us put an end to this at least at that the federal level. And done he's running for congress in the effective date compared to -- tight budget but there are are -- that's right toward the district against James McGovern. Export and -- would probably agree with this statement think well of course the whole world should have right at the expense of American taxpayers that's right I mean what.

I mean what are we here for other than give rights to the rest of the world.

You know Mike come I don't know if you've talked about this is an issue in your race and we're gonna talk about it later in the show today. But they had in of course it's been so crazy with Arizona -- John Kerry we haven't gotten to this but we're getting to it today I think in the third hour. They had the vote on funding. Our troops in Afghanistan this week in the congress of the united state and -- was up and nine out of ten of our members of congress from our state the only one who voted. To fund our troops and give them the funds that they need to do the job that would send them there for was Steve lynch himself Boston. The other nine including the guy you're running against McGovern. Voted to cut in run on our troops.

Re edited the governor -- was making you know statement on the on the floor of the house about this I guess -- earlier today or something like that so and -- end -- you know. I mean Afghanistan they're really tough situation no doubt about it but that just --

Eight and we have our troops or our best in our brightest the test men and women in our country has. Are over there they didn't make the decision if we're gratified at the politicians did. And cutting and running -- church and a high end run and not vote. To fund our troops is a disgrace. That McGovern is a disgrace and I'll tell you I hope you take about Mike.

Bless your heart I mean we're we're doing the best we can -- and expect to talk to you Barbara -- Cali and I'll listen to the rest what you say. Thanks Ali thanks see it but I.

Barbara that when I saw that vote I couldn't believe it -- like I said we'll get to it later today Michael and -- necks of Bob we'll get back to state issues and what they're trying to pull at the state house. We're Michael and call your next with Charlie Manning and Barbara Anderson hey Michael.

Thanks technical my pleasure I. The last guy just confuse me I'm -- for initiative petitions yes what it read -- and I guess everybody's guess what on what you you're one of the sponsors on the line there really -- quality. There's nothing wrong with that and Barbara you said that it would you would -- the coalition American families. They write on -- website committed to ensure that the people of mass and the opportunity to vote on the definition of marriage they are one way. That is their point that is what -- played before this will not allow that -- will allow equality. And don't you want equality for gay people in Massachusetts.

A sharp mom also that I disagreed with their petition I would of voted no to change the definition are whatever what they want to do I -- voted not to do it. Welcome I don't have a problem with gay marriage but gay marriage is over with an issue you know we are gonna kill -- just to petition process for everybody who wants to use this for other issues. Because that's just behind us. So leave intent of this and you should get one of the bill sponsors it's therapy gone to describe why they're doing that. Every time someone is calling and I know what talk show host did try to get -- they aren't. Stated stated -- knowing about this that this was what they intended oh it's much too -- admitted to beat this broad. Philadelphia at all on a tightly mcgetrick -- can open up one of them on a state be happy to come on and disk and expand might want it to -- that petition process.

Michael Michael they are -- Michael I can tell you they'd listen to our show up there. We get calls and emails and text is from the mall with time if we make a mistake. And they could easily -- they all know our inside line number they or they can call and on the regular phone just like you did poorly and we're happy so we're happy to take the call and I'm so glad that Barbara Anderson and then and other folks. Found this because the initiative petition process. He is one of the most important. Rights that the now Michaels hung up of course one of the most important rights that people have. In our state. And -- for them to try to do this in the world we mean days of the legislative session. Without anybody knowing it was gonna happen they were trying to pull a fast one Michael when you say he --

I wanted I shouldn't take advice from anyone who called this -- paid. That's up there's something going on here we worked with the polish American family to be spent in this petition process we thought. That they deserve having -- the figure -- eight vote. On the gay marriage issue just -- the constitution demands they get -- we've got them a 100% on that even though. I -- didn't agree with the issue but we all stand together. It would including a liberal groups -- people way out our elected to the latest petition process we all stand together. Against any attempted take -- this this this valuable tool -- has nothing to do with any particular issue.

And -- that's how YAM to Barbara I mean when I see people out gathering signatures -- tit for petitions. I almost -- it in less it's you know tough. Bring Nazi government to Massachusetts -- some foolish thing. I always sign them because I think the key poll are the best are murders of these things and I'd like seen them get on the ballot. And I'd like having a debate on these issues. And I think that's great for our state now some crazy things that happened with the initiative petition process 'cause we weren't paying attention. Mike. The contrast to today's race yet. Greyhound racing was a huge one the what was that the banning of late traps. Was -- was another sort of silly one I thought.

Give -- the legislature and automatic guarantee constitutional pay -- particularly it's still. Feel he's did you think nobody supported would never vote until the next petition process but they might vote for. And as Michael just said -- each individual. -- have freedom and equality not knowing that what they were doing was destroyed it has to petition process site but just stopped this in the constitutional convention. Rather than worry about it being on the ballot that people misunderstanding it as they get the automatic pay raise issue.

That's the shortly of people don't know this but -- in in the last like twelve years right. Voted to give automatic that he grievances. To the members of our legislature.

The only constitutionally protected guaranteed pay rated in the world that's pretty darn it pulpit if you vote for -- folks. Still never vote themselves that they read on Beacon Hill and everyone replicated when they used to vote in south 55% pay increases ride that -- voted to give it to the automatically and our constitution and we're out this evening known though. And it's -- anyhow.

All right let's go to the call him Bob in Marblehead the beautiful town of marble -- how are you Bob.

Very well thank you very much and a Bravo Zulu through Barbara very. Keeping out heads up on. What's happening here in the great debt. State counts. But anyway you Barbara you heard what the at school committee was trying to pull off in town.

If yeah I heard that again another example here this is interesting upper forearm earlier this -- Charlie. We get -- override can override on them Marblehead ballot this break. And the voters -- completely fed up and voted against every single one of them the fact that meeting last night. School committee wanted dare one that got defeated back on another -- another special election. And I would that there could I was I was getting with a -- Bob tell what happened at these at least spokesman speaking.

Well in 24 hours there and up phone calls that's it was posted 200 phone calls for the Portland's office. And including remind -- and several others of my friends. Anyway they they got the word loud and clear. And so when superintendent and good cheer of the building committee at the -- school. They get up and they said. The first thing -- sped out of their mouths -- well we're not gonna ask the sound for a special. Elections are nowhere right and but I would the first thing out of him out there and then create a select that right off the bat. Well if this came up. I was gonna vote against that so. I would I have to say they they had the guts to stand up and and stand with BS citizens the leveled -- so anyways that's going on that.

Voted get discouraged about all the things that are going on at the local and state federal level but. Every time the -- really pay attention and get up can't call people we can change anything.

Don't know why I agree. Anyway so so my last -- comment. Bill Barbara we ready for a term limits yet where we've seen enough so we can do term limits so what.

Determined that we have to do this year Bob is the thrill out of office if somebody had comments have been voting against stock. And I got a great -- several -- right now we don't even need a constitutional. Amendment to do it do it in November.

I I agree I agree. All right great general always listening.

Thanks Bob banks are one more rule grab one more he would covering this in letter ago. Diane -- you nexus tally Manning and robbery Anderson.

How bad rep I just wanna candidates or how about why some people have touched up. And I am so thrilled to just catch my right. Oh how nice -- say that I can you believe what an effective -- MarketWatch start bar. I can't admit -- ramming stuff out of Heidi -- that we don't support it unthinkable and what you look at which you have -- is just so wonderful. But backpack I am -- that that many folks where I in the press saying. What difference does that make it I speak out one person can't make -- different. It all wrong Barbara if they are they act so -- But there are fewer of them than they used to be and I I was very discouraged you know after -- the the presidential that's about what are people thinking. And then come out of nowhere comes this big party movement although people up there Diana who really weren't like god. Active and involved at all would call an alleged stated they would just put a silent victims of at all. And suddenly they were awakened their rallying and they're fighting back. So everything turning around yes you can taste it and touch and feel it's more than and it's fun. Here in the seat is like -- and it Erie where people are little older who don't know how well we are went on what to do any just. Do not think we have 795. Registered independents here. And -- maybe 500. A close to 500 Democrats and -- to 400 Republicans here. They're Republicans are beginning to move it activity. The independence of questioning. And the Democrats if Lott doesn't make a difference with -- will be okay. They have but he backed its its they're not it if you what you think that make what real differences that make that are refusing to say what you just did which. It is so important they will make a difference they can't stop. That's a little time for the backup per individual to make a difference. That there what -- going on in the changing the electoral votes to the popular vote does that stand a chance. I think it's already passed the legislature to on the governor's desk at deterring.

Yes it is from the governor's gonna sign and I'm sure yeah.

What he's just I have to I would take it that's our people have to drive okay focused on November is that it's -- you elect. Different than legislators absolutely and you elected different governor and then you get it that the only effect it is just a lot of other content from epic to just change it back absolutely.

And it doesn't even go into effect until enough states. Pass it in their states that didn't they can control the elections so anyway. Barbara Anderson just like -- lady nicely he said thanks for all you do if anything's going on this afternoon up -- you to pick up any hints he wanna give us an update. You've been sidelined numbered just give -- quick call will pop you right on. But thanks for joining us today and again they tend not to watch ready outbreak -- take care but Barbara Anderson as citizens the limited taxation and she's the greatest.
