I always worry about something that's built to the low -- so that's a -- and -- plastic -- in -- big ball -- you're gonna at this megaton chandelier and you say let's let's put that up with a -- can bid -- gonna work. -- want to get right to also to controversial stuff gonna throw stuff -- you today it's not going to be -- he's got -- Oscars he's just back from the Middle -- he is just back from the Middle East and -- the you can tell us how many trips he's done but I -- that was something kind of stateside -- SM trial. Not your president the Democrats -- civilian trials. You know these four guys we can give them the full panoply of American protection demonstrate that we you know intellectually morally. Superior all that stuff. What Steve Lynch's take on this KSM civilian trial you know tough case.
Is make bad law Hannah and I think the I think the the attorney general. Eric -- got ahead of himself on this and while it might have been appealing to some. Some segments of of the population that can -- in giving you eight people. You know an open trial with full protections. I think it's a terrible terrible precedent. To to take someone who. Is part of an organization that has declared war. Armed civilian population and to treat them as a common criminal it just does not work it's a terrible precedent to take. I think that I see the president backing away from that a little bit and also from Eric Holder about this trial in New York. I think there's a qualitative difference in what. Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. Did in what must column has tried to do. And and what we have. Structured our our legal system our civil criminal legal system. To deal with so. I think yeah I think we need to. Take a step back and look at this and how this is going to affect. Our ability to get other nations to cooperate. And to effectively prosecute terrorists I think we have to. Look more closely at at the military tribunal on model. And try to develop one that has the cooperation of other nations because we are gonna end up with. With challenges. On the rendition and in other words. Terrorists captured overseas that might be attacking American citizens are American interest. Will will need to be prosecuted in the system where those countries will be required to deliver to surrender. Those suspects to are accustomed us bright and so then needs to be a system that will not be challenged by. You know be France where we've seen a couple of cases overturned. All are any of other European nations we've got to have something that is. Now built on presidente has some level of acceptance. Internationally skills much like an ironworker.
Yeah I thought (%expletive) puff puff up.
I'm sure that's legit big sis and yeah I have to those boundaries very smart -- a challenger object to -- Mili military tribunal system is that these is the basis of their objection to fact we have the death penalty well. Summit but a number of Tom there are some countries that -- a lot further to the right of the hole mute any guy would sure some friends over there that are are more than willing to you know to railroad to -- suspects as well so we have to be careful of that end to. But yeah I I think in some cases of some the most sensitive cases their -- question of capital punishment. But.
What is the real motivation for the so what's really a phony story line in and that is that the Bush Administration was somehow evil for. For doing gitmo and for pursuing the terrorists the way they did in that. And that the the president wants to pander to the liberal base that they want to believe that's storyline.
Well I think what what is materially different here is I think in in fairness to bush he was scrambling. After 9/11 he was sort of you trying to deal with us on the run as a novel way to all of this and -- yeah -- experienced lawyers agreed this is even Dick Cheney within the past week is that look this is tough. Stop it is just a figuring out our system that works yeah. But I don't think we've really. Thought this through NA a in methodical way. I think the president today is -- still grappling with that he understands TV the conflicts here. And the contradictions. The you know leave the you know the principles that that we have embraced in terms of providing. You know full protection for four defendants and transparency. Confronting your your accusers. And and what that means in the in the -- context is. Outings CIA agent just how very different clandestinely had just they -- is evident and then you know I just had a chance to sit with three of our our CIA agents over in Afghanistan. And you know talking to them about the you know the situation that just occur until we lost you know seven not not seven agents put five agents and then. A Jordanian and and and one of the I south representatives. You know they -- doing very very dangerous and and parole -- on my behalf. And if we. If we adopt a system that that allows them to be outed. It it puts at risk our entire intelligence. Network so. We've got to think long and hard about what we're gonna require here will tell us about that trip the most recent trip to you've been to Iraq again. And Afghanistan again to different theatres actually Iraq and Pakistan. Okay we want to Pakistan I I have been Iraq. -- twelve times now aware and I AP oh but he. Re deployment phase they're now so we're moving most of our equipment to central locations and we're actually going to the process of what equipment to keep in Iraq when -- to them what to take home and what to bring to Afghanistan. And and so we're enough full deployment mode they've still got problems but I think -- internal problems you know who's gonna run for office we can't police that we've got to leave that to them and let there and government mature. The situation in Afghanistan is markedly different. The committee in Amman -- investigating. Alleged corruption. In the trucking contracts that deliver supplies to our troops so we had it went to some. Taliban control Leary is there there. They're no different than -- Some Wyeth says had a similar categorize or read your wits about -- had little different -- I. But -- China is trying to do make sure that taxpayer money just not find its way. Into the hands of the warlords number one are even worse the Taliban. Because they control lot of the roadways and and the truckers who supply our our folks. Who are more and more in remote areas these forward operating bases. Are relying on these civilian truckers and they have pain protection to the very people that where we're fighting against so -- it's a difficult situation we're trying to make sure that taxpayer money does not go. To the Taliban ought to these -- cents a it's a tricky situation at least the American I mean not have the logistical. -- capacity to you'd have. Having US army guys run on the truck that way at all I had the red ball express yeah I -- his -- history is tanks move it is the deal and we we -- the whole -- we you know it is the most of our on non military our our munitions cargo comes in by plane so that's a different situation but. Foodstuffs. Supplies blankets equipment. Comes in -- through Karachi and it has two routes one goes up the Khyber Pass and along goes up to where I was a place called Spin Boldak. Which is on the Pakistan he Afghan border. And it's all civilian truckers as these -- trucks that. You know and thousands and thousands and thousands of them they continually supply out troops and unfortunately they've got to try they've got to travel through these. Areas that are controlled by the Taliban controlled by by warlords. And that's whether that's with a problem -- now I would rather have it -- these more efficient. Yet do it that way than having US forces. Subject to the dangers and then the casualties that we would sustain if we had Americans on almost trucks supplying that then those with those requirements self.
Congressman Steve lynch will listen WRQ when you order Pakistan or any of the countries over their Iraq what are you able to see how do you move around. I can see whatever I want basically if it you know unless there's an.
Unless is an act of operation going on like I couldn't get in tomorrow Asia. This week be radioactive. -- You -- generally -- can go anywhere that I and then I request because within our system of government the civilian government is in the -- charge and I'm on an oversight committee. Which gives me a certain. Amount of access that that other members would not so you said requests itinerary before you get there and they you know I actually tell -- wanna go all. When you get there known all before I get there I tell them where I wanna visit who I wanna see -- wanna talk to. And -- that included in this case I wanna talk to some Pakistan truckers now because it you know we had some whistle blows while I was over there who said yeah we're pan. And hear the names are the names of the people with pain so. This is an ongoing investigation John Tierney has a big part of that he's the chairman of the the committee. And we brought investigators -- us and so you know. But but I get to you know solder city Fallujah. You know any any place that you know with the action has.
What's your sense of Afghanistan in it and how it relates to Pakistan. And whether sending more troops and is gonna strengthen -- we cannot serve. Well that plays out.
The president laid out a plan he wants to peak he wants to my guess begin some level withdraw by June of 2011 that's his plan. He allocated. An increase of 30000 troops. Which I think is is the look I think. Either he needs to -- a timeline back at the he's probably too aggressive on the timeline because we're relying on training the Afghan troops. But I think he'll probably need another 69 months on top of what he's asked for. Or he he didn't send enough troops he might have needed another 20000 to meet his deadlines you know what I'm saying. So it would have to figure that out download I'm not I'm military expert but I I I do know what I see. And you know they're making tremendous progress the question will be is the progress that we are making is a sustainable. That's the key and we don't let me ask are we -- BI as we start to depart -- as the Taliban going to -- and behind us because the Afghan troops and international truthful --
That's a big fear that they just run when we come invading they go back over the border into Pakistan wait for us to leave in the --
Well that's that's the problem and that's the commitment that the Afghan government estimate to these people. -- right now. Hamid Karzai and his his credibility with most of the people on the rural areas -- most people are in the rural areas. This is pretty low and so he's gonna have to show that that the Afghan police and not corrupt and they are actually trying to assist to lead the civilian population. He's gonna have to you know make commitments to the Afghan National Army. And also the border patrol make sure that these people want subject to the very people you're talking about the Taliban sweeping in and not. Inflicting their own version of five justice which you know it is it is very very brutal.
Congressman -- I guess do with the atomic Todd and -- delighted to have them it sounds like you think the one -- until we -- brand. Who are my people to call and as -- 617 an idea to 666 -- succeed this time it's not six AB WRKO. Yeah. Congressman -- on your --
It's a -- fully he. Iraq Afghanistan discussion bring it down a little bit small local talk politics the political season. Scott Brown's election the tension Donald Washington. This theory -- in Massachusetts a division. Was gonna be about to be deployed over to where you just came from her right you're gonna be spending some time with the the bringing.
Seventy ninth engineers -- actually after I leave here I'm driving Automask -- community college and we have a and engineering brigade battalion actually heading out to to Afghanistan so. -- what should. Godspeed and -- all those troops into their families. How Long Will they be over the this is an army groups sort will be one year who you have one year air force -- six months. Recently in Iraq we have some fifteen month two wars but those who walks by and pay off so these folks will be going for a year and finally before we leave Iraq totally. Q well how much credit to give to George Bush in the surge as the as as head as now having put us on the doorstep that you describe. Well this surge was the turning point but it wasn't just the American surge in the system you know you can ask Petraeus in this useful but you know this is what. He and I have talked about this many times. We surged to about 30000 troops studio 50000 troops in all during the search period. And the Iraqis however surged eighty to a 120000. So -- put the sons of Iraq show and and their training facilities and people pushing through their academies. So he credits you know he's a pretty humble guy further he's accomplished. But general Odierno and General Petraeus -- said on countless occasions to me. It was really the combination of the US surge and the Iraqi surge that made that whole thing happens and how we have to come on the Afghans -- something -- absolutely.
But let's take some calls but first you know it's that kind of political environment any big announcements you Wanamaker has -- hot hot hot hot. I am definitely running for reelection -- Obama that you understand your party I. Of course she that's just wanna make sure we break the news here in teases me airing. Marie de about a stay in and the partners 61726. -- release forms exactly -- we aboard. If you have a question for Congressman Lynch you gonna hop on the phone right now rusty good morning -- WRKO.
The Norman Mailer quick question for the congressman I -- When. America have a chance to do some troop withdrawal over and -- it can't understand I was wondering how much American presence will be needed. Afterwards if any at all.
That's a great question rusty thank thanks for your call. I I would say that is unknowable at this point. You have to remember that. There there is a significant. Presence of international troops NATO and UN troops in in Afghanistan unlike in in in Iraq. In Iraq it was a 100% of US all the time. Until recently we had sort of a 5545. Split between US troops and international troops in Afghanistan. So I'm hoping that you know as as the Taliban is eliminated as a as a threat. It'll be an international effort 22 to remain in in Afghanistan will be will be part of that. But my hope is that we won't be driving the bus and you know we we do have some significant support there from from the brits and in Afghanistan as well this. The French the Germans the polish Romanians study involved in the Canadians they've all been there. Although there are a lot of caveats what they call national caveats on what those troops can do. But in terms of the humanitarian work they'll have to be done and that policing in the training in things like that I think we'll have a pretty good partnership. That with what our international neighbors. You know after the the critical. Combat period is over.
617266. Exceeds sixty Mike you're WRKO Congressman -- type.
I going to see it's not like locals 67.
Hey Mike tell you don't money.
I'm doing great and he's going to keep doing a great job well yeah I have a question. Excuse me off on that a second stimulus package.
And American need to bad because the road opponents I've. Joy that they do they need to be done and that's gonna create jobs and people make money they.
Spend money I am I started in Canada two years ago all and they got it out running right away when I would bet I bet. The -- liquid -- could do with people work and I got my plan what was going on infected with the stimulus package they've put it right out of people working. There's Bridgeport -- People happy -- ever gonna happen.
Well like I have to tell you -- that's not how we did the first stimulus package for if you look at what happened in the first stimulus package. About 60% of the money that was allocated was it was really geared towards job creation may be half I don't know off. But -- a lot of those a lot of programmatic money that was in there a lot of money that really did not if you go through line by line what. What some of the nation's governors are now spending money on. You can make a real strong argument that those on not. Job creation expenditures. -- what what what kind of thing would not result in jobs off some of these studies scientific study and if you like you know with one employee going door to study something. At the cost of you know a quarter million dollars there accomplishes nothing. Samuel level right right it's just that person was already working and now he's working on something else. But but you know. Congress pushed the money out. In the governors wanna control. And and and now we're seeing that those monies are not being spent in some cases and an impact away. And we can't repeat that mistake. I think rather than seeing a eighteen other one of those. What -- you know out it would be difficult -- to us to support a sloppy stimulus that does not really sloppy -- would not be good is exactly. I would rather see something you know along the lines of an enhanced transportation bill what you do the things that you are talking about. Which is luck okay I've got I've got 600 bridges in Massachusetts that have been ruled to be deficient. They are structurally deficient they they need to be fixed they can be fixed. In five years or ten years but how about let's fix them now this is work that needs to be done. We're not we're not creating make work and one not spending things on you know. You know it's this studying esoteric subjects for the sake of you know putting one scientists to work.
Our current construction guys know Todd now with civilians to move -- we -- we -- very impatient because we're civilians we say okay. Nation's crumbling infrastructure hundreds of billions of dollars in stimulus let's get a dime which -- what the hell's going on but I are we being we being unrealistic. In why you would. The progress doesn't. The jobs in the act activity that -- a column makes reference to. It's it it's not occurring I agree that like to see 500 bridges fix the F so for the next forty years we're in good shape. What takes so long.
The bidding process we you know we have to go to a bidding process we have qualified bidders have to put -- out to bid. And and a lot of cases we've got calm but just -- already mean they've already done -- my -- met she while shovel ready kin. Mean a number of things at least the way we're seeing that that being interpreted. In other words the primary process environmental studies things like that are not in place even probably agree that this thing should happen. At least that's that's the difficulty that I've heard from some of our governess folks is that. Look we've got a very short time -- to get some of -- money out there and sold some of the things that there have been suggested. Don't fit in that guy not realistic I've got.
Very little I impatient when the money's going out on slow basis not on a fast basis may be for the reasons that you're talking about so really this is to stimulus packages it's the short term ones and that's the ones that are gonna come later. Why would we need another one even if the first one was screwed up in that it has these non stimulus thing's --
All right do any and you also wanna see the full of facts I mean. You know -- I'm hearing that money has been obligated but money has not been spent I think you need to be need to see what the impact of the first stimulus. Spending the actual spending results and before you decide.
This -- highlighted it all sounds very inefficient and maybe even incompetent. What do you mean just that money was thrown out there governors get to make the decisions of a so they're using it for non stimulant of things it was supposed to be a jobs bill that was supposed to get the economy going -- second in the economy going. So now the argument from some is now we need a second stimulus package gonna hang out. The first one. Was screwed up we're gonna trust you guys Alan all -- want.
Right well the -- the difficulty the -- is sitting in the city and Washington. How to -- decide what's the best thing for Scania Tennessee. I can't do that so the argument made by the fifty governors was give us the money we know what they're needed best in our states and so that was the combination of July.
they have -- they have to also be logical -- to have like UN -- give us an office in Washington give us the power to supervise the use of the money. In the governor's talk to us and say we wanna do this is this okay and then I say no taught you taking -- fired three guys to do research on. The right wing of the mosquito benefit meets this -- is more flying and then we say no that's gonna create job.
Delaware IDC but you and I might have an argument -- Steve talks but environmentally gonna do the environmental stuff. Well this before you do the actual construction. I think we oversimplify in this area with -- we want to see fifteen steelworkers fifteen GAAP and does -- fifteen electrical guys out the build rebuild that bridge. But even when you go and hire an environmental engineering firms to do the environmental. Study that has to be done before -- project. Those of people who are working who were working they've been sitting around -- and wait for free can call from somebody. Now they get across a lot -- you you when I and a little cubicle downtown Washington I'd say wait a minute let's not be silly it's.
And I'll about a guy with a hammer a -- I -- just scientists say and how do you protect the water I would move the environmental study to the back into the project once it's done let them study and see how large in all. -- speed things up speed it up sorry Craig -- NWR -- the congressman Congressman Lynch like correct.
Picard called. The Q. The question I have I'm in light of everything that Obama they've done so far. I like it could be gave it down it really work to get the free market capital and I would help. At one point at what point as a Democrat artistry you load it up debate you know there's not a direction -- not change the current heat. Expected to collect a look --
Very straight regular -- should well actually think you know we've probably got there are a couple of a couple of occasions I think that. The decision to. Try terrorists. In in a civilian. Criminal courts this is not something that I support. And not have made that known. Publicly. Secondly. This is day there's an attempt right now anything in in the Senate that supported by the White House to try some type of reconciliation.
Attempt. To to push through the Senate's latest bill on health care. And it would require me to vote for the Senate bill which I do not believe them. And which I have publicly says I will not support so there's there's a couple of instances where. I think the question was will win the U in the -- or our company. And and those. Those are important issues I think that. You know I I think the people that I represent. Did that my decisions on both those cases are consistent with the people who are present which is. At the heart of representative government.
Connie RW are you with Congressman Lynch either kind.
Good morning congressman -- general who I have a question of congress but I saw you on a hearing oversight. A boat Goldman Sachs received they understand. A prepayment by AIG with bailout money. Into question the Treasury Secretary Geithner. Regarding that secrecy of the whole thing.
This was whether very vulnerable extra in volatile exchange.
No one national one moment I saw it on these stand up like inflation to the congressman is what happens after that made you did I do you brought it up. The Treasury Secretary had I don't know what he did develop within. But what happens from the.
Okay that was that was the exchange just before my wife put me on the decaf. -- they disagree with I don't know why should a minute data exchange should've been a Super Bowl ad Berisha who run that is the bowl ad I am telling yet. That would dad needed to be said and nobody said but you thought well thank you. He hit -- what goes on next -- and thank you for your call. What we discovered that those of us who really drilled down and and understood what what secretary Geithner and Paulson secretary Paulson before -- did. Lose you -- to to really. To punish the taxpayer and reward Goldman Sachs and AIG. We we've discovered that there were possibilities of insider trading. That where investigating right now. That investigation is ongoing so. Would we go next is is the next hearing and more subpoenas going out. And more requests for documents. And try to drill down and figure out who knew what. You know win. Because we think that not only did the regulators. Abdicate their responsibility to protect taxpayer. But also that there was some individuals who. You know we're sitting on the Fed board of governors. Who actually traded. In Coleman. -- Sachs shares. And benefited from inside information so that's that's one of the things were looking after. And we're just gonna we're gonna follow the money follow the money and the influence that they Goldman Sachs had both in government and outside of government. And try to figure out if if not only were ethical violations made but perhaps even legal violations were committed by those official OR EEE you'd --
Us was appropriate to -- is question but the exchange was based upon your frustration in Iran did that Goldman got. A hundred cents on the dollar locking down and everyone else including the taxpayers and our audience is get a haircut right when his and as a meltdown everybody's got to step back one body that taking care of a 100% he went ballistic about -- And I'm reminded and I am thrilled about the I wish she had just two grenades initiative in your belt that day instead of just one but wait I because -- also taken a frigate hit.
I there was legitimate purpose for them getting the idea was to vote money in the hands of the banks wasn't that the the the but do you give them a hundred cents on the dollar. -- if you give -- the idea was sorry that's a little guy that would be fun some when he was to save the economy yeah and an end to two. To share some of the sacrifice -- we will rescuing. -- idea you was to prop up Wall Street so wouldn't fail also and I'm gonna -- that economic and other companies got a 100% as well. Through AA -- AIG anybody who was working through AG you know anybody anybody who had a credit default swap out. Got got a hundred cents on the dollar through AIG but but we put a 180 billion dollars. In taxpayer money into AIG it went right out to do wanted to it to Goldman Sachs and society I don't Rollins and my understanding was that that was done on purpose to because we wanted the money in the pockets of those companies I wouldn't go under -- Not all bad though still -- lending or anything like that. No this was this close to the benefit of the shareholders that's you know. This is a very complicated issue but. But they could have taken eighty cents -- sixty cents right actually how about letting the market value those credit default swaps -- valued at fifty cents on the dollar that's the market value yup of those credit default swaps we pay a wider and wider -- do that. But like I don't know what -- location while I was I was forced to why didn't have -- what I'm Margaret but the congress you have you have found out what's actually going on do you know why that decision was made as it was a -- not doing -- our system is solid this too much inside arisen in the government I got a -- apologize people who work for the government such as Goldman there -- other companies -- Well good -- this company is head and shoulders above all the others in terms of their influence. In in fed policy absolutely policy. They out Farnham bonus elders and as a way to reference to subpoenas an ongoing investigations might provide the -- until really just put the cherry on late Sunday here. -- after he did all that I'm an oversight committee. AIG went to disclose. That they gave the money to 22 Goldman -- ducks. AIG went -- I forget it's a ten I had always it is yeah this is what we did with the money that the government gave us. Secretary Geithner and and treasury said no no no no don't don't disclose that tellem that's a proprietary. I anyone that covered up so he did or not becoming a free year I couldn't figure out when the money went for almost a year on an oversight committee does what that's what made -- this grounds for impeachment. Ha ha this upstart browser is our first appearance and some more investigation I'll tell us.
We take another caller we need to break. All right let's take Mike for Congressman Lynch I might.
Yeah I -- I -- taught me how why should we tell you there's. --
You know call congressman Freddy you figure out what Joe -- Mike. Got to go ahead Mike.
pretty straight white spectacular. Light. Yeah the union you know a guy government blocking any of this sort of.
Oh yeah. Well mine doesn't have what you -- you --
You try to sustain -- for that right. Iraq while we -- guy I support guy I'm the poor guy you wanna spend that money like he helped talk you all know what you're really just clock okay -- looking --
Wow wow -- cut and paste daily -- a huge -- I -- that -- right well our luck rob. I have a lot of -- is that that I'm not with me and have -- the -- Whitney. And I've got some that it that I still with me. And you know it's. Is it depends on the day of the week sometimes and it depends on your view with things but. You know I'll I can say is there have been a lot of things like the building of the megaplex that I opposed to all unions supported. The you know the building of the asphalt plant domicile then that the unions want of the night and I opposed to I oppose the megaplex is well the big project for them. They're there have been a lot of votes where we've been on opposite sides I hope I still have debt they're respect even though I I don't have them their full support.
Some cases. All right Steve lunches here you like to talk to me you know the number it's not a toxic CD WRK.
You can operate you're down more than just the headlines we are. Boston's talk station and AM succeed. Could -- the right thing by those people. -- the American taxpayer because their money was put into that being put into this deal. I'm sorry I just think about I have been. Right that's -- take billions alive version. From congressman -- straight down.
172666. See -- succeed. Chris your that we are you with the congressman --
but -- in the morning. Stuart Grossman -- are curious. We probably should have been thrown at both large corporations. Don't appear that I have a friend who's got a yes small business saying he went to the US BA. They don't know what is different film. Some surprise that you know congress. And its infinite wisdom hasn't seen fit. To a portion re apportion the monies that were allegedly paid back to the government. Back to small business or any business just spend a long slogan is that they would -- toward eventual winners.
Hmm. Well. Well you know I I think. Careen brown. Assets in question congress is congresswoman. And she said -- of the big dogs always -- first and that you know and that's the same question why are these larger firms. Enjoying the largess of government and small businesses I'm not I know there have been some efforts to enhance the the effectiveness of the SBA especially in these economic times. I think that it's it's. Pragmatic had difficulty. On determining which small businesses out of the you know tens of thousands. Might be eligible for you know for SBA assistance. And you know where we're trying to make better determination and drive the money down to main street and away from Wall Street. But that and that takes along a longer process.
You Sally you're trying to be the top though and you've got an old six shooter -- on your hip and and the bad guys are running around with AK forty sevens.
It's not a lot of bad analogy yeah. We've got the tools that. You know we had coming into this and now learning new crisis and I think we need a whole new set of tools. That there you know BI the hero of both of pushing the money out to the governors and allowing them to make those determinations because each state is so different. That that's where those decisions are being made. And that was a tactical decision. Because -- in in my position I you know I. I could not determine what's the bet what's best for west Texas. In other -- so we we allow the governors to make those decisions.
Steve we'll get a question that's been lingering Todd and I were kicking around this morning you probably heard some of the Charles -- him is running them. Your opinion are experienced style that is America becoming ungovernable. In all of this it luck. This is the most exciting. And dynamic political season that I that I've ever. Experienced in my time I heard it was you know I I I've read about 199290. For those of a big change over. And you know a revolution. It was called. But. You know I just think that -- we've got very very big challenges in America today. You know we've got a quarter million men and women under arms and end in Afghanistan and Iraq we've got. -- huge. You know recession going on right now that is you know rivaling the worst depression. This country ever ever saw. And so we've got big challenges and people are upset and rightfully upset and they want leadership. And so. They ungovernable -- they they engaged to completely yes him but I I think that's great I mean I. You know this is this is a time -- you've seen some some evidence of this in. In a lot of long time members of congress deciding not to run again both democratic and Republican. And to -- you know I think it's a time where if you are an elected official. And you don't know why -- there. And he is in you don't you don't have the stomach for the fight. Then it is time it is time to go after -- so we'll see more maybe getting out. I'm yeah I I suppose there.
