Well some the house bill is passed that you certainly knowing -- listed there's Arabs beyond it's a very bad -- in my opinion it. Dramatically increases the size of the government the cost of government to end. Well and heavily adds dramatically to our children. Debt they were passing on the limits of three trillion dollar bill -- fully phased did. And the practical implications of -- are that you gonna end up -- they the government pushing into the private sectors significantly in the area health care probably with a single Payer system which is what the goal is of a lot of my colleagues in the Senate. On the democratic side ritual I think undermine the quality of health care for everybody does but -- Bureaucrat -- doctor.

Senator what are you hearing from in New Hampshire constituents New Hampshire has a legendary political reputation. And he had given you've got you know that he is senate -- to divided between you and senator Shaheen and you've got a couple of democratic congressman. What does that kind of what I call the true blue New Hampshire that doesn't mean Democrat or Republican just had ever really ramps of people when they saying to you about this they'll.

You know I was talking person who wrote the very small business they've got about fifteen employees. And they're counting until -- this week at this week about how still accustomed to -- thousand dollars because of the employer penalties and because they do well and this search attacks it would be put on them and is that you know. Happily optimistic people I guess it was 200000 dollar tax bill. Now I suspect in the -- the number of artists are going to be significant so. A lot of people are very worried about what is gonna -- a private insurers the ways that are raised their premiums than their ability to see the doctor they see today. Give you very few choices and end up -- I think lower quality healthcare.

Well Tommy put your finger right on the issue yes you can bring a that you're absolutely right well first we haven't seen the Senate bill is still being written behind closed doors and Harry Reid's office. Nobody knows what do except for five senators press doesn't know out in the -- obviously haven't allowed any -- large number of the democratic senators don't know what's. When that ability to actually comes the end of life it will come to the floor in your right they can they were probably. Structure it away where they get the votes they need to get to -- I mean you take care certain people or certain interest that they have. And then they -- at the conference this thing conferences will be really moved. Hard down the road out of a public plan. Single Payer system. Yeah and expanded significantly don't go much closer the house plan. And I suspect this is really only one voter at that point it's just sixty vote hurdle -- of procedural vote. The final passage go to 61 votes so they can allow a lot of their members to take it to not vote forest. And claim that they weren't -- even though they've passed that so you're right what will happen I suspect is that something. -- and I don't pass across the floor of the Senate. Hopefully after a lot of debate. And then they'll go to conference to become a very aggressive. Left leaning bill.

And then years saying that will get through those people who might roadblock to the fitted the first time around. They won't be able to lateral -- cave in.

Very is very much harder for somebody devote. I guess the procedural motion where -- sixty votes we want procedural motion on a conference report. And basically. People can cast a procedural vote and most folks don't understand that the file passage vote will be a simple majority -- they'll be able so nine. Democratic senators will be able to vote no on final passage and.

And it's still in this still -- so -- Lincoln for example might get kind of what I call the political. They will lose the motivation or lose the power to stop it.

It's hard to say it is too early today. Don't spend I think -- what the covers sport has and how it's characterized that. Procedural vote is characterized but you don't sound optimistic. Are you know I mean let's be honest about this. The democratic leadership has supermajority in the houses were shown and you know we lost 39 Democrats is so -- that. And they have assumed majority in the Senate and the president has put his whole credibility on the line of past this. -- health care reform bill. So I present -- presume they're gonna pass something I mean elections have consequences in this instance you're gonna end up with the government growing. By three trillion dollars over the fully phased in ten year period and I think you're gonna end up and very. The program that very much undermines quality of health care in this country you're gonna take a lot of Medicare of the Medicare savings that should occur. And use them to fund a brand new entitlement instead of using them to make Medicare more solvent that is what we need.

I senator I see huge crush of the states with Medicaid but I wanna have just -- question we let you go to Stupak amendment. Is that this does that carry the possibility of freezing Bob Casey and a couple of other senators with pro life leanings. And making them not automatically -- out of the Harry Reid to -- equation.

I presume in the end and I don't know that this will have -- my presumption is that in Missouri go back to hide language. And the sell oil pipeline which conference we'll have I'd language. This Rebecca -- was more aggressive and I'd language which is the present law. And but I I've presume I'd language will be the compromises reached on the issue abortion and the way you're right out of abortion should not heated debate in this. I mean really this debate should be about delivery of health here and I do a better in this country and there are ways to do it better. We have a lot of suggestions on our side got to do it better in a step by step basis not -- this -- massive. Movement to -- this massive expansion of the size of government.
