Well -- thought they -- but did what they needed to through -- senior seraph Ellen governor pillage and needed to. Incredible she needed to. Establish. First stop on the same plane as as Senator Biden and I -- Biden. Really needed to focus on McCain and McCain's relationship bush I think they both. Succeed in -- object.

Yeah I thought -- get a real I really did I thought it very very good job very credible no gaps wasn't too talkative. Any any of the things that people say he's prone to do you know I have a big. Funds you know soft spot in my -- the Joe Biden also.

Was there was classic debate I mean he he had to questions related them to personal experience says he was full of details this poem was right. -- Did all of the items on debate checklists that they -- must then and he eyed party -- it.

Prepared for the presidency no question about it Dave let's go to the polling you know yes special area of expertise. How where have you been concentrating now over the past couple of days and what can you share with the audience.

Well we released the -- in Florida. A couple word but basic though which should be done up -- historically as a Republican state our polling -- Obama by four points. In Florida with a -- so mine is so four points so. And there were other polls comparable polls. All shelling about the same things in an apple and a number by the polls added that real or points. Which is a dramatic shift historically -- on what goes on. --

Is that bailout of the economic mess national and global economic message what strive and that.

It looks that way it looked it looks like it's almost like a see saw you know it's almost like a while for the economy goes it. The props up Obama -- numbers corresponding way. And so -- IR I believe between. That dynamic and obviously the disapproval of bush in a lot of the battleground states. Voters -- sort of connecting the dots.

Did you think that the last night's debate is going to have an effect in the polls as far as you know one. That early poll showing basically that Biden was the winner last night that would seem to -- the coming out with you think that's going to affect the the race and anyway now.

Well here's what we look at like in Florida for example in in some of these the battleground states the expectation. Level. Was really hide abide. By a margin of fifteen points when we asked respondents -- music will win that debate. People was saying fight by a wide margins so you know I think. By a human being competitive I think. You know she may be -- that winner and it I don't know what it will translate troops. In terms the you know votes -- president Alvaro mystical pull up from the field right -- fox tonight and agenda. Or go to -- calling whose -- been released on Monday before the presidential poll out presidential debate on Tuesday.

What is in your opinion David and you've been a longtime observer of the the sport of the game. What is John McCain have to do because not in a Sarah -- stepped onto the stage last night and as you said did your job. What does McCain. I have to do.

Well I mean. Philip -- a better job I mean I think what Taylor -- band doing are two. Biden what what kind of what but I was doing she needed really to call. Obama's were. Record on the carpet. In and really tired dissect that a little bit. More aggressively and I think what McCain needs to do it he's going to have to make the yes crossed the line on the economy really has to. Convince voters. That he has -- focus different plants suffer from barge. That is quite different. From the democratic plan it will result -- a better approach. To solving the economy absent of that. I think the discussion of economy will continue to fall back -- what was -- in the poll.

Taylor we're reading in the paper -- now -- however at this morning that McCain is apparently stepping down as political operation in Michigan we read that Obama stepping down his political operation in Georgia. What's the story behind the story in those states.

Well you know we never were polling those states that we we've talked about this a lot about those folks were polling. Michigan and Pennsylvania we made the decision back in the spring before Obama even a denomination not to poll. Pennsylvania and Michigan because they follow the same historical -- was seen in two successive. Political cycle. Dick -- clothes for awhile and they both great democratic same thing with Georgia breaking. We also don't believe that Minnesota it was going to go either way even -- polling closed. It's voted democratic in eleven of the last twelve times going back to 1960s so we're staying with Nevada Colorado. I would during Beijing is starting night going to be -- North Carolina. New Hampshire Ohio and maybe Missouri and and in a florist starts to heat up again will be -- that a Florida.

Well David a sounds like you've got a full plate in a lot of great to share it with us you know give us that they give us all such insights.
