You know it it is now December 12 less than a month from now Willis will have Iowa and New Hampshire. In the rearview mirror will be moving on to a -- South Carolina Michigan and so forth so -- work in not just this up -- but whatever else you're doing for a Senator McCain. That notwithstanding the holiday distractions which we also come to your work is is is going to be pretty timely on this one help me to understand we've -- Senator McCain on as a pretty regular guest on thinner it's for a 56 times he's been great actually and we love to have a month. An articulated position even if he knows it's not politically popular the surge was not popular there's no question about it his his cooperation on the comprehensive immigration reform he said has cost them badly politically he thinks he's static to recover from that based upon you know an understanding of border security first. But this is a guy who just doesn't wet you know -- his index finger to try to figure out we he's going to be the next have a question -- asked.

They're saying the end of world we live in today we need. Great leadership in the corner office. And leadership and about being able to figure out what people -- and then doing it it's not about being able to determine if what he did yesterday work here. Lot of people and leadership means being able to see clearly it would -- to a lot of different people perspective then clearly seen what is the court and to be able to bring people do it in equipment what may or may not be popular. Obviously very very conservative which helped and I like al how that please -- coming out of Iowa you know. The -- should be if they you know kept Iraq it's -- governor how to be in Iowa will evaporate battle in the debates do.

Help me to understand help all of us to understand the aftermath of New Hampshire would then bring everybody down to South Carolina. And then there's another pattern of states that begin to quickly emerged. Real challenge John McCain's view on the economy protecting American interest in developing that economy and a strong fashion what is convincing in the McCain platform -- you.

I think birds the wild we need national security and stability. That's what's really driving a lot of the problems with oil -- is one of the few Republican candidate come out with a very strong count the base and policy would have very good -- agenda on the environment that -- and -- and and you know it you I battle Abu. Mister speaker. -- Andy particularly in places on the agenda in delicate and better at that and and candidly I think my party upper. I'd not being at church there typically conservative group that I think. John McCain clearly and children the about the wrapped in saint you know and incorporate it -- where. He believes that global climate change energy security art and promote critical. Challenges that date back and he's committed he's -- market based initiative to let it out. At gas emissions -- He out I don't know that we need to were it back and -- you know. Understand that we after the draft climate change now. And he out so -- know he's been eager and doing that though I think that was the really important. Jane what we stand in our conversation little -- you had mentioned that to you as a young mom and as a governor so you were a couple of very important hats of them education was first and foremost among your concerns and yet there -- a lot of Republican. A conservative Republicans who think that the federal government has no role of a responsibility and this is best left. To the individual cities and towns in states to set economic I mean education policy and to not have some. Deed be interfering nanny state. Down to DC big huge federal bureaucracy beauty and on nagging away and interfering with -- education at the local level what do you what what -- Senator McCain say to that type of you know grass roots resistance to waive federal role in education.

Well I think and he'll be cabinet. Is that it would ever talented at it and one in the -- being happened actually very hot in here what -- got ineptitude and the street it -- the economic competitive -- this issue our whole country without -- and the math science and it instead art even back falling further behind map which is it to where. You know treading water -- the the world is moving forward it is the national it is there are absolutely extraordinarily important role. Well you -- now is Scott McCain it's said that the world is dangerous places I doubt I'd mind you need a leader. They -- the game -- basically that it that's been said you know not not and you get to support a true American air about the topic it at.
